because he plays the clickbait and hype game. And I do not say that as a ludi hater. it is the youtube game. even if the game would be something else.. why tf would he not ride the eu5 train as long as possible? All his viewers are sad little GSG nerds like us that "know" it is eu5 anyways. :D

I can't imagine release before this summer, though since the Spanish team actually gets sun more than one month a year, they might not go on break for it's entire length.

If it were being delivered from Stockholm I wouldn't count on it before November.

yes that is my only doubt. If we take both staetments this one and his post on the forums which was not talking about financials, most likely means calendar year 2025.

But there is indeed a possibility that he only eber talks about financial year. But pretty sure PDX financial year is 31st December?

Yes that is what makes me think he means calendar year and not financial year. But you cant be 100% certain of course.

Thats the great thing about Spain. People take holidays all throughout the year and the whole country doesnt shut down in July. That means that development diaries and game develooment continue all year around.

But no way a release before the summer. Definitely expecting an announcement before summer though

Didnt want to make a new thread to ask this, but

Will I:R style missions actually be in PC, or is that just a rumour? If they were they must have said something in a TT or TF by now.

We don't know, I think.
They are being quite opaque about this subject.

Well they said ages ago they would have IR style generic missions but no country mission trees.

But since then they declared the game "finished" and fully shown and have not heard anything since. I swear Johan mentioned theyd be shown in the current flavour mechanical content Tinto Talks they are doing now, but have not heard anything since. Maybe they didnt work, werent fun and worth the effort and have scrapped them for release until a future patch?

Not saying it is but if the announcement is soon and the game releases in 2025 i would not be surprised if they had to "lock in" the current features and had to scrap anything that had not been finished yet until a future patch.

I do hope they make it to release but if they are going to be 3 generic boring missions i'd rather they implemented them better with more options later on. It is clear that the game has more than enough to keep us busy for many months as it stands so im not too worried
