Extra! Extra! In today’s news, we bring you new footage of the ongoing struggle on the South American continent. We will give you exclusive shots of the political and military development in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile.

It is yet unclear how the political landscape will evolve during this tumultuous time, though we have seen some prominent persons appearing in both the political and military landscape. Here are some of the most influential people we’ve identified:

On the broader spectrum, our office analysts have looked into all the data we have collected and recognized a multitude of potential developments within the countries. No one can predict exactly how a country will develop in the future, but they’ve drawn a general image of some focuses that the nations might orient towards:

From our reporter on ground we have an exciting story on the military groups involved in the conflict in the South American region. Without further ado, we bring you this exciting interview.

marblemadness: So, Slurpen_Paradox, can you tell us more about what is happening behind the scenes?

Slurpen_Paradox: Yes! These are the most prominent armed forces that have been involved in the area.

ART_06.png

marblemadness: Jolly gee! Is that an armed civilian? These people look very dangerous. Are there any other forces involved in the region as well?

Slurpen_Paradox: I’m glad you asked! Other than the “armed civilian” there have also been groups driven by various political ideologies. Here are the ones I managed to capture on camera:

ART_07.png

Slurpen_Paradox: It’s not only ground troops that are fighting these battles. With the latest technological advancements we’ve seen in recent years all the primary countries involved in this conflict have acquired various planes, tanks, and armored vehicles to supplement their forces.

They seem to have a bunch of repainted ones as well as some that I haven't seen on the battlefield before!

marblemadness: All those vehicles looked dangerous. But hang on just a moment! This one does not look dangerous at all! Finally, some decent, upstanding…
ART_14.png

marblemadness: …oh. I see. It belongs to the Liga Patriótica Argentina. Is there any other footage you would like to share?

Slurpen_Paradox: Yes. During my time in the deepest parts of the Amazons I’ve brought with me some dramatic photographs from the battlefields.

Couple of quick questions,

- How many new leaders are added in this patch?

- In terms of the overal art process, for leaders who are Political Advisors or Military Staff, do you create a full portrait (like for Country Leaders) and then downscale to fit the size of a Politcal Advisor portrait. Or do you create different portraits for those icons?

- Are there any generics in this patch or is everyone named?

- Who is the guy with the Greek E on his hat?

Thanks a lot, this looks an amazing DLC so far.

I really wish La Resistance DLC would've got such a detailed set of unit skins, especially the armed civilians and different uniforms. These look wonderful.
They should make a 3D infantry sprite pack adding special forces, partisan skins and more different uniforms for the national of previous DLCs

I don't know who this Senhor Hitler is, but I can tell you that Senhor Hilter is nothing more than an odd fellow with only a minor ambition of world domination!

Are "The United States of Brazil" and "The United States of South America" still have mixed up icons? Because the one about the USB had SA icon, and the one about the USSA had Brazil icon.

What is "Welsh Argentina" in new achivement, as whom we need to control Wales in new added acievement?
I am just guessing here, but Argentina can get immigrants from different places also Wales, so maybe if you pick the decision to admit a lot of Welsh immigrants you become Welsh-Argentina instead of German Argentina or something like this then take control of Wales.

Also, as I saw in Hammotimee video on Hearts of Iron offical YouTube channel, you changed portrait for Fanny Edelman. I think that former portrait were more funny and cute. She looks too serious or maybe even sad on new one. Can we somehow select old one or return to it?

Excellent work, the 2D and 3D art looks amazing ..
Just a little suggestion about the portraits of brazilian generals.
In the late 1930's they would look more like this.

Day 2 asking if there will be new portraits for Peru and Colombia, there is still hope :')
I'm afraid not :(

It's mostly been concentrated around Argentina, Brazil and Chile. Paraguay, Uruguay have some, as well as Bolivia. Then there are a handful of native councils as well as the operatives that go with La Resistance.
