I’m having trouble understanding this; is the 7 province/island restriction just for the decision to become a pirate republic, or does the restriction apply to becoming one through an event? So could England at its full 1444 choose “a pirate’s life for me” when they get the event?

Only the decision for the player to make their country into a pirate republic.

Can fleets of annexed countries orphaned by the war join up to a nearby Pirate Nation?

We have something in script called 'exiled rulers' to save ruler information for later use, but unfortunately not 'exiled nations'

I know I'm late to the party, here, but I just wanted to say the War Against the World CB, as described, sounds like a CB to take any slave producing province anywhere would be more thematic, and feels very strategically interesting to me.

That would only let you declare wars on Africa though. The idea though is more that Imperialism for Pirates doesn't make sense.

I believe a raiding map mode would do wonders. Also map mode modding when?

MEIO&Taxes have asked me for map mode modding for ages at this point
