Don't listen to these guys Wagon, you're doing fine.

Ack, Euro gave his spot away. Now we can't annoy him like we promised in the last game.

Don't you need three people to have a Mexican stand-off?

Does it count if the other duelist has two personalities?

edit: also, this hopping to Paradox forums every now and then really is harmful to the growing Prussian empire in EUIV.

Euro has 7....so it could take a while.

I lost count a while ago, so I'll take your word for it.

We need to get Olaus back, H.

A n00b might do it, perhaps. >_>

Night 1:
President-Jefferson-Davis.jpg
It is quiet the little town San Jose. There isn't really much in the town, but lately there has been a lot of soldiers who are retreating from the advancing Union army; these soldiers are part of the Arizonan army, who has set up a temporary headquarter in the town. To cheer up morale and because he was in the area Confederate president Jefferson Davis (GreatUberGeek) has come to the army headquarters. Unfortunately for him, Unionists in the town have heard of his visit and they have made plans for his assasination. As Jefferson Davis gets out of his carriage he is shot to the head by a sniper on a nearby rooftop. The Arizonan army starts bursting through all the buildings in the town and they manage to corner the little group of Unionists; some of them dies in the ensuing gunfight, whereas others surrender in the hope of mercy. They will be executed by firing squad in the morning. Meanwhile Jefferson Davis dies of his wounds and the whole town starts mourning; the Arizonan army starts to appear on the verge of falling appart, but then Lieutenant Colonel John Baylor - leader of one of the regiments - succeeds to make the army stay together. They will be stronger, but the death of Jefferson Davis must remain a secret, since otherwise the Confederacy could break; a large cover up is therefore prepared. At least Jefferson Davis died a proud Southener who despised the Yanks, their Union troops and their despicable values of equality between slaves and white men.

Scheisse. :( Also, very quick out of the gate, marty.

since it's obvious he will soon start causing mayhem. Clint Eastwood with a cigar in his mouth just can't keep his mouth shut, now can he? ;)

Nice update, by the way! :)
Thanks. I am trying to make a coherent story from the game updates; seer scans are also part of the story. After the game I then plan on both doing an AAR with the orders, but also post every part of the story including seer scans; hopefully I can get to the famous mexican standoff from the end of the movie, but we will see. Also in case it isn't obvious: Wolves will always be clearly identified as Union troops, the seer will clearly be identified as a Union defector.

I know how these games work! The trick is to be as arbitrary as possible! So i'll just close my eyes, spin around the room a little bit, and pick someone! *closes eyes, spins around his room, and points at a mirror*

...

Well, this is awkward.

Don't tell anything about scans in the updates since that's inside info which isn't meant for everybody. Now, I could have misunderstood what you mean, just putting a word of warning in there.

Thanks for the warning, but yes you did misunderstand me; I probably weren't too clear on what I intend. What I meant is that what I PM the seer is part of the overall story, but you guys won't hear about it until after the game when everything is pieced together. If there is an outing there will be references to the specific scan which lead to the outing, but these references won't disclose any secret information and you guys probably won't even notice them---though now that I have mentioned them some of you maybe will. They are simply there to stitch the final story together without revealing anything important.
