Huh, I was for a moment like  when I saw the swing on me. Good that it didn't last and we got Falc the wolf. Very generous hunt by the way, thank you very much. Much applause.

There's also the possibility of disagreement between pack members, a sneaky surviving wolf who would much rather the honourable Falc hadn't made his run to victory harder. Who was saying we shouldn't think of the pack as a hive mind?

I believe that was me. :p I would suppose the last wolf isn't necessarily the most veteran one as he might have overridden any kind considerations should he wish to win at all costs (sniping the hunt or whatever). Or it could be really benevolent wolf who wants to see where this is going to :ninja:

Glad we got a wolf, but curious hunt. I know I said Jk was the most likely wolf if we got through Alxeu and Falc, but I'm questioning dutchguy, since he's acting odd, and the skobelev push really doesn't sit well. Highly doubt any of Kiwi, skoblev, or Randy are wolves. GUG's unlikely, but not as much as others. Since there's only one wolf left, I think we should try to tie JK and Dutchguy, and hope the wolf between them agrees to give up. Hardly fool-proof, but going one at a time lets the wolves pick off more players.

Vote Dutchguy

Yeah. If we can agree on three certain villagers we can force a win no matter what. Tie today DG and somebody else and hopefully one of them is the wolf and surrenders. If not, even if one certain villager is hunted, there are two more + two less certain ones so tie the uncertain ones and ask for wolf surrender. Of course if we think wolf is one of the most certain villagers then it's lost but I don't know how we could triumph then in any case. So,

vote DutchGuy

7 alive 1 a wolf, lynch one by one worst case it takes 3 lynches in 3 days. Tie today and we can tie tomorrow, for 4 lynches in 2 days. Ties are the way to go, for sure. And DutchGuy has to be one of them.

Vote randakar

My pick for the second. All he's done is voted Hax when if was already being talked about and everyone else had alibis, well except the now known wolves. Thoughts?

To be honest, I could very well see Randy as the benevolent Dark Lord forbidding his minions to hunt *certain* players. So yeah, could very well be him, especially seeing the vote on day 2 to Falc when the mood was that Gorganslayer will be lynched in any case. The impact of goodie points from early votes on wolves is lessened by it's basically just one vote (if no case is made when voting) and then it's a toss if the vote is meaningful or not.

Anyways, if it's not DG or Randy I'd really like to see him win this one. But I suppose that pair would be a good bet at this point.

[paranoia]Then again, it could be you with your single alibi vote on Rovsea.[/paranoia] :ninja: :p

edit: at least now we know nobody will speak on behalf of a packmate so everybody can speak up their minds freely.

I surrender.

it is hopeless, and I dont want to deny randakar a villager win with a death tie.

Thank you. Oh and thanks for the wolves for letting me live. Not sure if that was the most sensible thing to do when trying to achieve victory but I for one sure appreciate it. :)

It wasn't just the vote on him. I made sure he'd stay in the running in the first place, with a strategic vote on Cymsdale. And fortuitously randy had me explain that at the time.

I was suspicious of rovsea very, very quickly on day one. But I didn't want to kill him in a way that would get me hunted should I be right, so I went for methods I'd usually use to kill a villager as a wolf. Which worked doubly in my favour, as something a wolf seeking an alibi wouldn't do. I had to be right about rovsea though, of course :p

The deadline stuff yesterday would be in my favour too.

Still, with all that I'm shocked how quickly you all bought my innocence yesterday :p I barely had to say anything, even though I had plenty both in my defence and more importantly to accuse others that I could have gone for. I wish I'd known arrogance would get me this far last game :p

I surrender.

Good man. There was no way you'd escape today. As a wolf you didn't play too badly, you just have to work to make it so your wolf play won't look quite so much like poor villager play.

Also, I'd never have hunted arkasas when he was the one getting into the lore, if he came up on random orders I'd change them. If you want to extend your life, give good rp ;) I actually cut my plans for it in fear the wolves were targeting it.

Not that you'd have reason to buy a meta defence like that while we were still playing.

Weeeell, let's just say I had better candidates than you in mind. I had you and Randy at the same level of suspicion so I didn't trust either of you explicitly but was naturally open to what you said. I have to confess I loved the paranoia of this game which made me see all kinds of things that weren't really there (madchemist alibi voting etc.). But looking at the vote counts and how the game went I can't say I'm displeased with my performance here. :)

And you are right, confidence (I wouldn't necessarily say arrogance) works usually quite well. Overdoing it to hybris tends to backfire as people might want to knock the arrogant one down a peg or two... ;)

Yeah, needs improvement. Then again, DutchGuy seems to have perfected the "poor villager play" as he wasn't lynch target until now even though Randy quite correctly pointed out the horrible bandwagon move made on Gorganslayer. So we definitely cut him some based on his typical behaviour. :p

And I think it needs to be stressed that while own survival is very important, at least people should try to make an effort of looking for wolves when doing so. I don't know how wolves thought trying to lynch me yesterday would play to their favour. Unless they were secret elves and were weary of this world...

I wouldn't have hunted Arkasas either but that's because he's been getting hunted early and often in the games he's been recently. Then again, career-minded wolves would have needed to go medieval on those making the case and voting Rovsea and later Hax.

wow, that ended quickly.

Not what I expected when the seer croaked on night 1.

edit: oh wow, a real win. 6 and half years since the last one. Yay.

Not what I expected when the seer croaked on night 1.

I think we had some bad luck day one with the large movement against Rovsea. This forced us to be just a wee bit more obvious than we should have been and when Rovsea actually ended up lynched, well, the wheels were coming off the wagon.

Also, Cymsdale posed us a real problem with that perfect guess of him. We couldn't hunt him since it would be too obvious and leaving him alive would mean he would only become more right every time one of us went down.

So it was a perfect guess? I knew you made it 3, but I'dforgotten who number 4 was. 15 choose 4 is what, 15! over (4! times 11!) I think? So 1 in 1365, that sounds about right.

Yeah, village needs quickly wolf name if it wants to survive without seer. This game it worked pretty well.

Oh wow, he really guessed the entire pack there. Then again, I for one didn't pay any attention to those names since it seemed to be nothing more than a guess. Not sure if others kept those names in mind, I can't remember anybody mentioning anything about that guess. It seems it mostly upset the pack so it was beautiful psychological strike. :D

I wonder if Cymsdale would be willing to give his guess for the next lotto numbers... :p

*rofl*

Ok, I expected to really need to do some work today ;)

Vote dg for formalities sake.

Btw, that perfect guess was why I called the Cymsdale hunt cowardly - he had 2 or 3 wolves guessed right at that point...

Well then.
Vote DutchGuy
That was easy. Kinda.

Can someone tell me who won this so I can update the count? GM is not posting any relevant vote counts makes it very very difficult....

Winners (goodies win):
GreatUberGeek
randakar
JohnKjeken
Capt. Kiwi
aedan777
Gen. Skobelev

And I'm sure brovahkiin will update the stuff when he gets online and officially ends the game.

*rofl*

Ok, I expected to really need to do some work today ;)

I expected we'd have to argue harder for wolf to give up. Nice it happened this way since I'll have concert tonight anyways so I wouldn't have been around that much.

done....

well that was a fun game even if I got voted out early the level of analysis was really fun. Alsi whwn I saw that latest vite records it was intresting to see DG had voted on a bandwagon ill say everytime on villagers, I really wanted to say something but didnt then DG surrendered. Im curious why not hunt gneral skobelev he seemed to be the person with the deepest analysis to me
