A Dynasty would be a bit difficult - the only way I can think of off-hand besides the ruler designer is for a vampire to go over the hunger cap, feeding automatically, randomly choose you, successfully feed on you, have you survive the feeding, then hit the tiny chance of being turned by that. Getting turned by feeding doesn't add the character to your dynasty, so they wouldn't be your heir, so they'd need to already be your heir and in your dynasty.
Ah hah, all I see here is a challenge waiting to be conquered :p

I found that the Sapphire Flame and Golden Order can do prepared invasions. The Sapphire Flame won't necessarily succeed, but the Golden Order is so strong even without the event troops that they can beat most anybody with them. I don't know if this is intended or not, but it's going to lead to them becoming a major power pretty quickly after they're founded.
that so never ran in to those guys. do tell me about them.

I already have the how-to of portrait modding down, and have modded some of the portraits already (specifically, making the gods eyes glow and making injuries and illnesses appear properly on dragons). They are dds/tga/png files operating as different layers of the portrait.
I have the information to set up the converter, it's more an issue of time and priorities. If I set up the convert now, I'd have to delay other features, and once those features are in, I'd need to set up the converter again to reflect those new features.

I'll have to look in to that. I'm aware that they can to prepared invasions, since the religion allows it, but have rarely seen either of them do so.

1. Do you have the Conclave DLC? Glitterhoof appearing in your court is a feature of that DLC.
2. Do you have the Conclave DLC? If so, what childhood education did the child have? If not, I haven't tested education without Conclave in a while. It might be considering both of them part of the same tree of educations since they are both learning educations.
3. Magic Heritage doesn't do anything without Conclave. With Conclave, it lets children who don't otherwise meet the requirements for magic education learn magic.
4. The base spells can be used without way of life, but several of the events (most notably the Tower chain and getting the lifestyles) currently need WoL. I do plan to add non-WoL alternatives later.

that's good you know how to do it. :) at least there will be plenty of art coming though do you have others doing the art or are you doing this by your lone some?

I've found that my vassals will conquer the Sapphire Flame in a de jure war. I gave the Sapphire Flame the entire duchy of Galloway, and then when I'd reached empire tier granted the kingdom of Scotland to a vassal. A few decades further on, the king of Scotland declared war on the Sapphire Flame for his de jure claim on Galloway.

Why are all the courtiers wearing MR clothing with this mod?

I'm not sure if this question's been answered yet, but what purpose do the Norse/Greek god characters serve from a gameplay perspective in the mod?
Right now, they mostly make the Demi-god trait accessible. I do have deeper plans for them, but most of the work so far was the flesh out the pantheons a bit and fix some graphical issues

I've made some tweaks in the development version to make them a bit stronger and to make establishing the Sapphire Flame remove claims on their land from other draconic pagans.

I've not seen all clothing being MR clothing, though I have fixed an issue (dating back to the original mod) where all of the Norse use german/early italian portraits in my development version. I am aware of ruler designer characters all using MR clothing and I'm not sure why yet.
...Unless I already fixed that. I'm not at home and can't check my notes at the moment.

I can confirm the everyone-wearing-MR-thing, with the addendum that it's only UNLANDED people.

Ah, I see that. I'm currently working on another feature, so it may be a few days before I can look in to that... and then add a few more days as I get distracted by Stellaris 2.0

The giants follow the faith of the Jotunn, worshiping the ancient giants and Loki alike, but no Aesir. They have been Relegated to Nordland, but desire to conquer literally all of Scandinavia and then some. And they can do it, too!

The Auram dynasty, dragon kings of the Isles, and heirs to the Flame. over a thousand years have passed since the fall of the last emperor. Can they re-establish their once mighty hold on the petty humans, or will they become prey to those who hunt for glory?

The Qocho have lived in their homeland for years, but with the coming of the new age of Knowledge, they have learned of the mysteries of magic. Will their Manichean magician of a magnificent margrave manage to rule, or will he die as he lived, defending his ancestral homeland from the other tribes, or worse?
Mythos was originally created by Stanley Yelnats. This mod was created with his blessing, and everything he has done for us is highly appreciated. Thank you, Stanley!

Progress updates/dev-diaries will be posted occasionally in this thread. You can find a link to the Github in the Download spoiler, as well as the actual files uploaded here in this thread. Dev Diaries and releases (with their patchnotes) are threadmarked for ease of access.

guys thanks to another modder on steam Sir Elderrock of the mythlogical creatures mod of which is on steam has showed me some other links you guys can take a look to. here is the ck2 dark world reborn mod it is mature for mature audiances so act with caution in it has the angles and demons and the succubi in all forms. https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2644-ck2-dark-world-reborn/ and this one for all varrents of the elves be warned this mod is dead as of recent. it has not been updated for 3 years. you guys should try and find a way to get the data for it or something. http://www.moddb.com/mods/elvhenan

other wise check those mods out and do share if there anything of value you can get from them to implament in to mythros.

I haven't been able to reproduce your nomad thing. Can you post your save?
I have, however, noticed that all the inland republics are listed as merchant republics and will need to look in to that.

Sorry for the late response.
Here is my Save file. Try to give away the castle barony in aleppo.
I was also using the "Your Personel Castle mod". But i doubt that affects anything.

Vincent - I'm aware of the Dark World Reborn mod - It seems to come up high in Google's results when searching for CK2 modding questions I can't find the answer to. However, there isn't much overlap between what we're doing from what I've seen. For that elf mod, most of it seems to be from modern fantasy sources.
Typically, one of the hardest parts is researching information on how various myths were in the middle ages compared to their modern perception.

Bodyless - I found where the problem is - there's was a small gap is government requirements where vampiric cultured barons didn't qualify for feudal or blood court governments and for some reason fell back to nomad. I'll have it fixed in the next release.

If your looking for stuff on Elves/Faries/Trolls/Hidden people (they are all mostly the same thing from my research) Look up the Book the Secret Commonwealth its from the 1690s but the folklore it discusses is much older than that. I am also reading an 18th century Trieste on Spirits by a French Monk. I mostly focus on 18th century folklore but I can help a little bit with some sources. Also have you read or looked at Wonders in the Sky by Jaques Vallie. Its a pretty nicely cited collection of UFO like stories from before powered flight with a large medieval section. I suggest that because there are some stores in there that are clearly fairy stories.

I see at least the mod is something you know of. though from what I heard dark world reborn is not compadable with mythros etc. though what in there could be usefull should the mod be used in conjunction with mythros etc. but like you said since there is not much overlap with the two that should be ok right?

ah so the elf thing comes from modern day sources. well Wikipedia can provide the over view of the lot and should have in there mentions of the historical and middle age myth regarding the lot. or something close enough there to it if it does not reach the area between 476 and 1400 or so. what then? some of the other stuff from myth is from the far east but also fits in the description and elves I do know is a Germanic European thing. so there should be sources there that should identify the year or rough estimate of when it was put to paper.

When I say there's isn't much overlap, I'm referring to thematic overlap - there isn't much they do that would be appropriate to add to Mythos. There may be some technical overlap, which would prevent the mods from working together. I have not tested them for compatibility.

With elves, part of the problem with Germanic elves is that the region is busy between both giants and dragons. Additionally, the medieval elves were very similar to fairies, which I already have plans for.

So, Rugarth, The Dragon of Fraeyar, He has a lot of trouble ever expanding out of Fraeyar, the furthest I've gotten is just hard focussing on gold income and when people declare war on me I just play defensively, stand my army keeping their army at bay in the boats, and force them into major debt (I think them getting like -5 per month and me getting -.20 per month was what it was, or atleast a good example) waiting until they get to like -500 to mess up their country, but even then it doesn't do a whole lot, best I could hope for is mercenaries, but Fraeyar can't survive long enough in my expirience to get the money to support a mercenary's upkeep for an entire war, and its very difficult to get our own army, let alone more land.

That’s why I mentioned courtiers only as wearing those clothes.

What start date are you using? I'm working on improving their position in the TOG start date, and they're bit better at 769.

I see well when you get the chance you can do that test or ask any one of us here to do it and we can report in to you on it working. if running those mods together allows you for stable gameplay period then yes they can work together if not and it crashes at some point in the start up process etc then yes they are incompadable just a matter of where is it going wrong to result in that.

ic so that area is mixed in with the giants and dragons interesting. and I see I hope those plans for the fairies come to fruition in due time. though fairies on there own are vulrnable to iron out right elves on the other hand can handle iron esally so there has to be some distinction between the two or are they part of the weakness to iron thing?
