When my court chaplain embraces a heresy I get three options, embracing it myself, telling him he's mad or imprisoning him. But choosing to not embrace it but not imprison him causes my character (a vassal duke to the king of Poland and Kievan Rus) to take the heresy in question as his secret religion.

Event should have three options now:
1. He is mad! Arrest him. - I mean, what else are you going to do with a heretic?
2. Ok, he's convinced me. You publicly take the heresy religion
3. Take secret religion "I will NEVER embrace your vile heresy... publicly."

If we ask you for a save, please upload it in this thread.

We welcome reports of any issues you encounter in the mod—in fact, it’s absolutely essential that we get feedback from multiple sources. In order for that feedback to be useful, however, please consider the following before reporting:

Do you have the correct checksum?
The checksum is a four-letter code which is procedurally generated by the game, representing the exact size of all your game files. If your checksum and my checksum are the same, then we have exactly the same files. Where this becomes useful is as a shorthand to determine whether there are any differences...if we say "the checksum with the mod is ABCD" and your checksum happens to be ABTY, then you know there's something wrong: you have extra files somewhere, made some changes, or didn't download/install correctly.

To find the current checksum for the mod, check the download thread -- it will be listed by "Current Checksum" at the bottom of the first post.

To find out what your checksum is:

The vanilla checksum is located in the launcher:

22yhdg.jpg

So the vanilla checksum with the 2.4.3 patch should be WIUP.

Then, after starting the game with the mod installed, you'll see a mod checksum in the lower left of the title page:

zswhg3.jpg

Thus the mod checksum is CQCJ.

When reporting issues, it's always best to say "I have checksum CQCJ" or just "CQCJ", as a way of letting us know you have the exact files we'd expect for the mod. If you don't, and know why (let's say you made some changes of your own, or mixed in another mod), you absolutely need to say so.

Have you altered anything?
If you’ve altered your files in any way, let us know. It will give you a different checksum (as above), and we’ll need to know that. Too often someone will report a problem, and only after lengthy discussion do they mention “oh, and I also changed X and Y, does that matter?” It matters, even if you think it doesn’t. Note that this includes the use of any sub-mods, even ones which claim to be compatible to the main CK2+ mod.

Are you updated to the current patch?
CK2Plus will always need the patch listed under the download link. If there is a Beta patch, we may require you update to it. As new patches come out, however, they require time before CK2Plus is compatible—make sure to check first!

Are you using an older version of the mod?
Please mention this. Also mention if you started your current game on an older version of the mod -- that can be important, as newer mod versions are not always save compatible.

Note that there’s no need to put up a link to a save unless we ask for it, but it’s useful to have one available (if you can). This is especially true if it’s a repeatable bug (ie. a bug that occurs after every reload, either on the same date or in the same time period, and cannot be bypassed), as that means it’s something we can replicate and thus investigate.

Okay so my checksum is ugyl. My problem is as the apostolic religion my game wont let me establish the patriarchate of Antioch, it doesnt show up on the religion control screen.

It won't show until it's held by an apostolic ruler, I think. Patriarchate will only be established if the territory is held by an emperor of the same religion (limitation due to current game design).
I actually have a better fix for this, just need a couple of hours to code it.

I found a weird bug that did not let me continue any plots. If I started any plot no matter which type, it ended after a single day. I fixed it by plotting against my wife using kill spouse plot, letting it disappear and starting it again which fixed other plots.

When my religion was Roman it appointed a priest of a newly built temple, the succession law became Gavelkind.
In the case of a temple that was already built, succession law was Investiture.

Because I am Japanese, sentences may be wrong, but please forgive me.

This is anegdote, not a bug report. Without save game or where this is visible I can't help you.
Are you using other mods?
Which verison of the mod are you using?

Already fixed on development version.

あなたの英語が大丈夫です/Your English is fine. You're more coherent than a lot of people, actually

I'm only using costemic mods which includes Bigger Interface and Better Looking Garbs.
I'm running 4.07.4 version.

The bug can be seen if you try to start any plot with my character.

Not yet 100% certain, but it has something to do with you being the councillor. By resigning I'm able to start plots again. The pillock of the eperor will automatically offer you your job back, so that's definitely a viable workaround.

It only fails for me once. Every other plot after works.

EDIT: no idea what's happening

Taking a spin with the last version of the game (by the way, amazing how quickly you folks managed to make a version that works with CK updates, honestly, kudos!).

I've noticed that everytime I had more than one guest for carousing, if the "form friendship" event fires, the text and picture will show one guest but the new friendship will be established between your character and another guest, not with the one depicted/listed.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Is it by any chance showing you the realm top liege?

Roman religion was not fixed even with the current version.
But I understood the mechanism.
The succession of Roman priest is the same as the law of which had that temple before that. Therefore, if it is a new temple it became the gavelkind. Perhaps the religion may not set its own succession law.
P.S.
Zeress, Thank you for praising my English. I am delighted.

No, I messed up. I'm scoping primary title from title scope. Fixed now.

Hi i think i might have encountered a bug. I have the correct checksum, and no other mods enabled. I also have the latest version installed. Everything seems to work ok, but my councillor, whenever i deploy him to fabricate a claim on a county, he just dissapears and and the option to fabricate a claim just dissapears out of the council menu. Changing the councillor also doesnt work. This means i cant get any claims. Is this a bug or is this some mechanic i didnt know of?

Also one edit: On the main menu it also doesnt display the CK2+ version number, its just a white box.

Negative funds? You can't fabricate claims if you don't have money. (and prestige maybe)

I know, too lazy to fix it.
EDIT:Ok, I reupload.
