1.06 doesnt work??

ive got the french Ubi soft version of eu2, and i just installed patch 1.06 (french version) but it doesnt make any difference, on top of the first screen of the game, i still see EU2 v1.05 and i didnt notice any change ingame.
whats the problem?

Uninstall and re-install the game and then apply the 1.06.

Don't know if it will work, but its worth a shot...

by the way, this should probably have been posted in the support forum, but I'm sure a friendly moderator will move it

Hi there!

As was recommended above, I'd suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling the game if you've still got the 1.05 showing in the opening screen. If you go to this Forum's FAQ (link in my sig) you'll find special instructions for making sure that you completely uninstall the game before reinstalling.

Your 1.05 save game should work with 1.06 - don't forget to save it (or them) somewhere else before you do the uninstall.

ok, i uninstalled and reinstalled and it works just fine now, my army maintenance costs have tripled, so im assuming 1.06 works

Yup. That seems to be working correctly. If you want even more of a shock, try loading the latest public beta patches and starting a new game as the Timurids.
