1.3b download

When was 1.3b available for download? I downloaded DAIM, but did so onto 1.3a. It seems to run fine except for the messages I see when I loaded 1939 scenario: "critical error-missing event database.db/event/AI_BOL.txt", also others, "database mismatch....". However I just pressed ignore and continued on. I have UK and can see Italy massing at the Egyptian border with militia, infantry, and armor. I took appropriate action and brought in Indian, Australian, South African, and Iraq units to meet this future threat. German navy is reduced to 4 subs and 4 cruisers ( plus only 1 transport). So they can't take Norway. It's Feb. 1940. SHould I download 1.3b? And if so where is it?

1.3B is an AI update not a self installing patch, so you must uncompress it to the HOI2 folder. You can find it in a sticky thread in the Generql discussion forum.
As for your trouble with the user mod, I have no idea, We do not support user made mods. Please contact the makers of that mod for assistance.

1.3B is an AI update not a self installing patch, so you must uncompress it to the HOI2 folder. You can find it in a sticky thread in the Generql discussion forum.

I downloaded it. It has the .rar extension. Which folder should I uncompress to? ai folder. Do I use winzip to uncompress? Thanks for any help?

You can use any program capable of decompressing RAR files, I use WinRAR.
You extract it to the main HOI2 folder, which if you used the default path would be something like C:/Program files/Paradox Interactive/HOI2/
