10 Tech Teams

I remember one version of HOI2 allowed up to 10 tech teams. And at one time I read a post that had instructions on what file to edit and where. I do not remember which HOI2 version it was. (I have played so many over the years and do not have all of them installed). Does anybody remember this?

You're talking about Arsenal of democracy here. Iirc you can have the same amount in DH too, you just need to edit the misc.txt file accordingly.

I've actually been playing the game with only 5 tech teams and the results are pretty interesting and fun. It makes playing as minors more interesting. And if playing as a major, you really have to think about where to focus your research.

But to answer your question, you want to change line #1039 in the misc file of whichever mod you're playing:

# Max active tech teams at a time (cannot be more then 50). Note: New Technology page layout will be auto-set for values above 5!
