-10000 food? WTF?

I am at day 180 and I have lots of resources and bases all over the map and tons of farms.

I looked at my resources and I have -10000 food. But my civilians are fine and I have food all over the place. Is this a glitch or something?

Going back in my auto saves at day 165 I had -4000 food and at day 150ish I had +1000 food.

When I click on my farms they have 100 food stored. It would appear the drones are just letting the food sit there in the farms. I have no idea whats happening at this point and its rapidly growing to -14000.

Also I would note that my production of food is higher than me need.

If food is sitting on the farm production platform, you probably have a lack of Food Depots nearby to store all that food.

As to the -10000 value, I suggest you take a screen cap and file a bug report. Upload the screen cap and your last saved game so the devs can look at it.

Probably overflow, you have too much food and the number is went into the area used to represent negative numbers (why they used a number type that can be negative for stored food and other stuff would be a better question.)

Send in a bug report, but probably won't get changed, esp if don't cause problems other than strangeness. (and also show they never really tried for endgame scenarios)

I did confirm I have depots and also made more food depots available. Doesn't seem to change anything. One thing I did notice though is all my food is now sitting in my domes on the farms. Stacks and stacks of it. They don't see to transport it outside of the domes anymore....

Really frustrating to get this late into the game and have an issue like this that is explainable

This was my second play through so i'm not sure when it was. Has there only been 1 update since launch?

The latest patch hit just a few hours before your original post, so if you started that game before the patch, it's possible the patch broke your save.

Either an integer overflowed or the patch screwed up the tally somehow. But your pops are unaffected because the food are still physically there, just probably not counted right.
