@lazuka - i understand u had to go. i also felt Dan was a bit hard on you. not the most polite guy i've met.

Beat him 2-3 times in the row and he will become polite. :D

thnx for the game ppl :)

is there someone interested in taking canada/france and then changing to USA later in game, to even the teams? (currently 3 axis players vs. 2 allied, is going to be very difficult situation for the UK player)
we're not so far into the game, just june 1936 or so.

we will be playing again this evening, 19.00 CET

regards

thnx for yesterday guys :)

unfortunately i have no time to play friday, saturday, sunday, or monday. i know that's pretty bad on my part... and we got such a fast start.

saturday is the only day when i got free time, but i think i'm tied up by the game i joined last sat. (if they do show up, and we continue it)

hope to see you guys this evening

regards

Hi guys, I know that this game has been up for a long time... but still I could take a place of some minor country, if there would be any available? :)

Looks like a good group! Geeze this game just won't quit. Just wanted to say hi, and let you know that we have regular EIR II games, Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays.

These games are more stable than most with a fair number of experienced players but we can almost always use minors, and subs for those occassions when people get lost. If you are interested check out our schedule here HOI II Doomsday EIRII mod MP game schedule .

Good luck with your game and have fun.

By the way, the best way to avoid arguements about "Strategic redeployment, is simply to say "No SR'ing away from the front line, when adjacent to units that are not retreating." Very easy to enforce.

true

@Storm: we're always open for minors. currently we're still pre war in a new game, something like june or july -38.

we play mostly weekdays gathering at 1900 CET (GMT+ 1 hour), and sometimes on weekends, decided from time to time. if you can play from 1900 central european time, (sometimes 1800) and 3-4 hours, you're welcome to join.

@cueball: yup, this game never dies... or not until Q3 next year, HoI3... Think this game was released what, 5 years ago or so? i started playing it maybe 6 months later, and still here i am. on the other hand, the kids i teach still play Counter Strike, and some of them were just newborn babies when that came out... :) might see you on that monday session, if i like the modifications in east is red... is there a complete changelog somewhere? will be filling in for france in that case.

Good, that you're still in prewar, so what minors would there be available?

I live in CET+1 (GMT+2), so weekends would be better than weekdays, unless we start at 1800 CET.

allies: australia, brazil, canada (canada is a player, but he also joined just now, maybe if you can only play sometimes you can share that minor)

axis: romania, bulgaria, (dunno if anyone wants to play them though... but shoul not be impossible :D) nationalist spain. maybe argentina, but then there are some rules as to entering the war. same goes for brazil.

ok, i've tried to make it 1800, but it seems that's difficult for the ppl living westwards...

I could play Canada or Australia, but is Hungary taken coz I'd rather play that country.

As for the session times, if we have to start at 1900 CET... well I could do it. But how long is usually one session... 2-3 hrs? So I would have time to only play for about two hours, but that doesn't matter too much with minors, if I have to leave a little early, right? ...On weekends the situation would be completely different, so then I could play the whole session.

to any of you really experienced mp-foxes as cueball out there, if you are still checking on this thread...

last game we got really crowded by random ppl, friends of the regulars etc. and in the end there was 12 ppl in the game. i had to ask 2 to leave, due to flag-shortage. that was probably for the best anyway, my connection prolly couldn't have hosted more ppl anyways. but for the future, is there a way to increase number of flags? (for instance make 36-scenario have as many flags as 38)

Look for a file called 1936.eug in the scenario folder. All you need to do is add has many entries as you desired after the ten country tags listed. ( It has no effect on checksum )
