Playing Prussia, 1.03.

After a war with Holland and introducing some unemployment benefits, my economy isnt going as good as before.
Then I found out why, my two factories in Rheinland have stopped working, even if they are supplied with all the pops and resources they need.
None of the other factories seems to have this problem..

I believe that if your war with Holland gave the Rheinland a coastal province, you now need clipper convoys to make the factories there produce.

I gained Groningen. I havent noticed the convoy system, before you posting (or rather, I thought I didnt need it as I dont have any oversees colonies).
Still doesnt get this, but hey :)

Thanks, it helped alot :)

The "fix" in 1.03 for landlocked factories and RGOs that are separated at game start is a bit flakey. It works so long as you don't gain a sea province when the fix thinks that you need convoys.

On a slightly related note, you can't always colonise from a landlocked country even if you acquire a coastal province. I've found that you need to be able to trace an uninterrupted chain of provinces from your capital to the coast for colonies to be enabled (as Switzerland)
