Let me take this opportunity to give kudos and thanks to all the modders out there. I am grateful for your work, whether or not I express interest in your mod.
The current multiplayer situation is pretty bleak; No organization. Some good dedicated players unable to organize or schedule. Those familiar with me know I've made it a fairly high priority to organize a 7 player game in order to keep the AI from affecting the game too much. While I won't say it's impossible, I've been trying for over 4 years and, apart from some scattered sessions, have found it impossible. There's another way to play multiplayer however; just find 1 or 2 people to play against.
My first question is: Are there any mods designed for only 2 or 3 players. After that I might suggest that modders perhaps explore this idea. You can ignore the rest of the world. Just detail the necessary theater. Might I suggest some ideas:
Iran v Iraq, The Falklands(Malvinas), Arab v Israeli, Vietnam, Korea...I think you get the idea. There are many small conflicts worth representing. The multiplayer community would benefit greatly. Just a thought.
