Loss of called-up troops on inheritance

I was playing the Prince of Antioch in 1.02 and was first in line to inherit the Empire. The Emperor got into a civil war and called up my troops, but just let them sit there (as usual). Shortly afterwards, the Emperor died and I inherited the throne. All imperial troops were disbanded on inheritance, including those in and from my original demesne. Fair enough, I suppose, but in other wars in which I inherited my previous character in the midst of a war, the troops stayed around. The real problem is that the manpower pools in my original demesne provinces were nearly empty after the regiments from those provinces were disbanded, despite the fact that they were still sitting in their home provinces when disbanded.

I've seen similar things happen with called up and disbanded regiments, but can't recall the particulars. I'll see if I can duplicate the results later and post what I find.

Any luck ?

I will log it anyway.

I reproduced richvh's situation exactly:

Granted land to my primary hier. Asked him to mobilize troops. (He did.) Saved the game, then reloaded as my son.

Used console to kill myself off so my heir inherits. When the heir's court disappears and moves to the capitol the mobilized troops disband. The province they were mobilzed from did not get them back. Province manpower was reset to minimum, 10,000 troops lost. :( (Troops were present in their home province.)

I tested this scenario again, as myself instead of reloading as my heir. Used console to commit suicide. Heir inherits, his court moves to mine. Mobilized troops are *not* disbanded.

So you have two situations, identical except for which character the player is using, with two different results. I sense a bug here.

OK thanks.
