Computer Crash-1.02

((Making a new thread because this isn't exactly a CTD.))

Playing my game as the King of Italy, CK freezes- music keeps playing for a while, but the date and all other activity ceases- and no other program on my computer will respond- the computer has to be rebooted.

Started and still am under 1.02.

Problem began occurring ~1215.

Crash appears to occur 1-2 years after I reload the save.

Yes, I've defragged, Yes I have a hojillion GB of hard drive space left, No it doesn't happen while saving/autosaving.

Here's the last month or so of in-game events from the most recent crash; I've been checking and there appears to be nothing in common from crash to crash.

1219-03-16 : April 17, 1219 : Mikhail has laid claim to the title Count of Oleshye.
1219-03-16 : April 17, 1219 : Reinhard and Kunigunde had a daughter, she will be named Maria
1219-03-19 : April 20, 1219 : Doménico and Douce had a son, He will be named Bonifacio
1219-03-20 : April 21, 1219 : Burchard and Clara had a son, He will be named Manfred

Curious... Okay, might have a cause.

Two separate times, freezes have occurred under the following circumstances:

I raise troops from my demense in Italy/Sicily. I order them to move to a Christian country on coast of Asia Minor, but don't declare war on my target, the Ayyubid remnants around Syria. The game locks up near the end of the first month the armies are traveling. I'll do a bit more checking to see if I can repeat it reliably, but since I have to restart my computer each time I "succeed", it'll get really bad.

...and the third, and fourth times it'll let me do the exact same thing without any fuss. #@$@#

Could it be because the ruler of a Republic get excommunicated ?
