What are the graphics settings used in the video? Low, mid, high, max...? I'm really curious about that.

In any case, the graphics looks very good, and I absolutely loved the transition between seasons.

Hey! So I had the Graphics on mostly Ultra Settings, with some things off just because of my rig / how I have my monitor set up etc. I'm also running the game in 4k but we scaled the video to 2k!

I legit JUST watched on YouTube, but it looks really good so far! I am wondering though, if you can share of course.. What is performance like in the current build of the game? (totally not wondering if I will need new hardware or not)

Is it just me that thinks the Imperator Rome map is much cooler?? We need to follow this cool map. The current map looks like Civilization

I must reiterate my opposition to soldiers being depicted using agricultural implements instead of weapons; the guy trying to stab someone with the blunt end of his agricultural scythe at 6:17 looks truly ridiculous.

Pity you did not catch central Ukraine/Belarus at all, only some parts of Ruthenia are seen in the 'Carpathian Mountains' moment

I would really appreciate if you post a screenshot here so that I could show and post it in Ukrainian gaming communities :)

Aren't castles way too big?
I mean, being able to easily see the castle is an important feature for EU games, so them being disproportionately larger feels more like a design choice.

Also, from the latest TTs, I did notice a 2D sprite for castles, when zoomed out, which was a nice addition imo.

Good to see snowcaps on mountains! Some really nice cinematic shots in this video, and good use of the soundtrack as well.

Some feedback/improvement suggestions:
- Like other people have said before, the fort models need to probably be smaller. If nothing else, at least in the bare terrain mapmode. In more gameplay-oriented mapmodes, having them be more visible is maybe fine.
- Also, the transition between green and brown grass textures (in the Pontic Steppe for example) is a bit sudden and could be smoother (maybe steppes don’t need to be so brown..?).
- Some coastlines seem to lack beaches which makes the border between water and land look weird.
- Levies using farming scythes that haven’t been modified into actual war scythes looks goofy (I mentioned this before in the 3D unit model thread), especially when they use them in combat animations.
- Something’s off with the Great Britain’s heightmap specifically, it looks fine elsewhere but here there’s some unnatural looking features.

Disagree, seeing which tiles have forts is a fundamental aspect for EU games, maybe they could be smaller when zoomed in or sth, but from a bit zommed out view if I can't see the forts and suffers a loss for it it'd be silly. This is also my mention of 2D castle sprite on my previous comment.

A lot of improvements on the current terrain texture can be made, including the one you mentioned, and the one the other guy mentioned before (grassland texture is just green colour and contrasting with more higher-quality farmlands texture), among others (like flatter coastlines etc.)

Well, you beat me to it.

Does the zoom-out start from Ulm? Truly, navel of the earth, city of the world desire.

Still feels a lot more cartonesque-Civ style compared to Imperator, for my linking, but still less than Vic3 or HOI4. I guess there are plenty of balances between beauty and navigability of the map, as well.

beautiful, but please add walls around cities and towns with fort, at least until late fort buildings

That's be cool, but weren't the devs basically said that implementing such feature was so convoluted it wasn't worth the hassle to make it happen?
