People with two wives

In my current game, King Philippe of France has two wives. :D Both are alive and well, listed on his character screen. I didn't know he secretly converted to Islam. :p

Speaking of which, should it be possible for Muslim males to have multiple wives at once?

I have seen this also, it happened to me when two of the girls I asked to marry accepted the same day :D

O

LOL!

Now jack up theirs, and the kings fertility... and see if you can get them pregnant the same day :D

Marriage Bug

Hello, as Castile in a multiplayer game I took an Argonese courtier, Sacha, as my wife in the 1066 scenario. She has had one or two children so far, and I decided to take a look at their abilities, but they did not appear on the character screen. When I clicked on Sacha she was listed as having two husbands, and the children were listed under some Polish guy  ! Fortunatly, we hadn't even gotten 1.5 years into the game, so it wasn't a great loss. I can E-Mail the save file to someone if neccecary.

Confirmed this bug in response to another thread in GD.

haha...funny bug.
My king's father suddenly arrived in my court, leaving my brother's court.
Strangely, although my king's mother was still alive I was able to marry him with a 20 years old lady and he had two wives. Well, within a week he left the girl pregnant. A month later he died.

He sacrificed himself for the dynasty expansion. Way to go dad! :D

My king once married a woman who already had a husband, and she had two children with the other hubby before I discovered it and assassinated him. After that it worked fine.

Checked it. One of his wives is countess of Guines. So how is it possible to divorce a wife?
It's not in game. However in the original scenario setting, there is a couple of cases of divorcees being in the game and being married again (example: Eleonore of Aquitaine used to be a wife of the living French King, but divorced him and married Henry II).

In such cases, the scenario files include data on both marriages, with the first marriage being shown as finished and the second started. There is no error in the setup - this is how it should be, the divorcees can marry again, they go back to the new courts etc. The problem is that the game display has no way of indicating that, so it may appear that some divorcee, who remarried, has two living husbands or wives.

I suspect your case of the French King is exactly that - is it 1187 scenario?

No, it's the 1066 scenario, and the King in question is Philippe, the starting one (unmarried at scenario start). So he somehow acquired two wives during the game.
I reported this under 1.01 though. Haven't seen bigamous kings in 1.02.
