Well since my first attempt at a Polish AAR was cripled by a virus, I have reformated and reinstalled HoI, and installed the new CORE 7.1 patch, and I msut say the events lead for more and more interesting routes, especially as Poland! So here it is, my second attempt at an AAR.

CORE 7.1
Polish AAR(with CORE this time and hopefully no virusus)
THe Belvedere Palace - May 1935 -
The old man lay in his bed coughing. With each blow his face withered with pain.
Suddenly the door opened:
"You called for me General?"
THe old man laughed at the dress of the man before him.
"Yes Beck, I did. I have some grave matters to talk to you about."
Beck knelt on one knee beside the bed.
The old man began.
"Our situation is fast deteriorating friend. And so am I.
I have nothing left to give this country anymore. My hands are writheled.
I cant even turn in bed. My insides are all eaten up, but my soul lives.
This is why I cannot bear to leave the world without leaving some instruction
to help guide the people."
Beck Replied:
"Jozef, what are you saying?"
Jozef(Pilsudski for those that haven't guessed yet) replied.
"The international situation is terrible. Poland is crammed
between two superpowers. We have to options: To be crushed
like a bug, or infect the predator with a lethal dose. To
live on our knees, or die on our feet. YOu must maintain
a good relationship with France, our well being depends on it.
Listen carefully Beck, no matter waht, do not sever ties with France
and Britain. It is essential-" The man was cut off by a coughing spasm.
A nurse ran in, but he motioned for her to step back. Catching his sense of
rythm in breathing he began again:
"We must not fail in the struggle of keeping Poland free. The west is
blind to what brews in the East... They're tuning a blind eye. We
must no fail..." he coughed again "You may leave..."
Beck got up a little frigtened by what he experienced, he said to himself
"We must not fail..."
He exited the room promptly.

A radio announcer in Warszawa
"It has jsut come to my attention, and the attention of the Nation, that
Marshall Jozef Pilsudski has passed away. He was a great figure in out Nation
and shall be sorrowly missed. He is to be moved to St. Johns Cathedral, and a great celebration is to be held. Lets all remember this great man. Lets all remember:
Polands First Marshall, Jozef Pilsudski."
January 3Rd 1936 - Warszawa
Marian entered the room. It was a cold January evening and it showed.
His nose was red and cheeks rosy. He wiped his nose with his sleeve. And
reached for a handercheif.
"Gentlemen, welcome to the first meeting of parliament of the new year. Meetings will ajourn every three months. Now then we had a little problem with civilian unrest, but over the months, it has quelled to acceptable levels. Now then, we shall set forth a new plan for governing the Nation. As you
know we are currently not necesarily "in power" , this will be coming to a vote on May 3rd. There are two other oposition parties. But donot worry, I am sure we will win. Afterall , democoracy must prevail. We are
surronded by millitary regimes. We are the beacon of hope in this dark time for Europe."
Jozef Beck, the Minister of inteligence, stood up in agreement
"Of course! No matter what we must prevail, it is a wish of Marszalek Pilusudski! Poland must, and will prevail in light of democracy!"
Marian happily replied
"Yes, we shall, so then friends, for today we are ajourned. In 3 months."
Marian left the room flanked by Beck, they would talk rather avidly over the next few months until time came for the May 3rd decision of how the country would be run.
