A strange Bug

I have windows xp.

I fisrt want to say that i reinstalles twice eu2 completely.

So when I load eu2, blink video starts and i see the task bar.
i click on the blink task.
Then nither if i escape or let it run to the end, when i exit blink video theres a black out and i m dropped to win.

I still see, on the task bar, the eu2 task but clicking on it just put me back to win.

Anyone has a clue ?

Castellon's advices:

1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16bit
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.

Add-on

Following Ryoken's adviced advices i rename the "AVI" folder to "AVIX" which permits me to swich the blink video introduction off, but then i crash to win again without being able to wate the loadind of the interface.

Make sure you have updated your operating system icluding DrirectX, and video audio card drivers.
Also try the following:
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.


Have you done ALL of this?
