Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie to modding, I'm playing with DV2.1 with the DVIP addon installed, and I would like to mod some provinces to create a kingdom of Wallachia as well as move a few borders around.

Could anyone post a quick reference for how I can mod provinces into their respective duchies and kingdoms?

On a side note, I was wondering about an idea of adding a 4th level, currently there are Counts, Dukes/Princes, Kings etc, with the only Emperor being the Byzantine one (who's really just a king). I'm wondering about adding a 4th level that puts all counties both in a Duchy, Kingdom, but also a higher level Empire IE, combining England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and Mann and the Isles into the British Empire, so you could command from the English Imperial throne and have a Scottish King as vassal?

Does anyone know if that would be possible or would it just be way to complicated?

Thanks for the link, I was able to create a couple kingdoms, eg Wallachia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Austria etc. and was able to reorganize some duchies, but I ran into another problem.

I created a Schwyz duchy from what was most of Upper Burgundy (lopping off the two french provinces, and renaming, re COAing them). I'm trying to keep the 2 provinces lopped off together as the duchy of Upper Burgundy, I created a new tag for them as a new duchy, COAed it and whatnot. The problem is that when I try to release that duchy it says it's a Kingdom of Upper Burgundy, even those the county tags list it as, (Upper Burgundy, Burgundy) when you hover your mouse.

I've checked and rechecked, and in province.csv the created tag is listed 1st, as it is with all other duchies... Anyone have an idea what's going on here?

Which tag did you use for the new duchy ?

The tags are hardcoded to be either a duchy-tag or a kingdom-tag. All user-defined tags (U000 to U019) are kingdom-tags.
