So with CK2+ taking measures to prevent extreme character age, I was quite surprised that he made it this old. At the time of his death he was the oldest living character in the game. What are other peoples age records?

My Danish dynasty has a fine record of being gluttonous, maimed, and/or leperous - while frequently leading armies. So about early sixties is the best I've managed, thus far.

My oldest character got very close to yours. 77 years old when he died. Usually I want my characters to die when they are about the age of 50, so that guy was really old for my standards.

He starts with the Strong trait and I got lucky with a hunting dog and some health boosting events. Even so, that is the longest I have ever lived/reigned I think. Over 60 years playing him!

Ironically his descendants are the most sickly accident prone bunch, he outlived all his children and his grandson who succeeded him got leprosy!

60 years and only 7 children? even worse, only two bastards?

bastards are backups.

Hah, yeah, thing is forming the Carolingian Empire locks you to elective gavelkind and I didn't want my realm split into a million pieces (witness history) so i actually spent a lot of energy forcing my backup relatives to become monks :p

then you need a barren wife, and 20 bastard children.
