AGoT Mod not working anymore

I just got (no pun intended if you know what I mean) Way of life, Sons of Abraham, the Republic and Horse Lords DLCs yesterday.

So, I wanted to play some GoT mod with my new DLCs, but I forgot to untick the Horse Lords DLC because it is incompatible with the mod before booting the game up, and it just stopped launching and the mouse arrow had that blue swirl next to it for a bit. So I decided to try again, but this time without HL enabled. No cigar. I rebooted Steam again, and tried, yet that issue still happened. What do I do?

Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Horse Lords patch breaks compatibility... so you can try switching to an older patch version on steam or wait for an updated release of this mod

You need to switch back to version 2.3.6 of CK2.

if you have steam its as easy as using the 2.3.6 beta option.
