Hello! I am working on a submod for AGOT that will make use of the many portrait dlcs that are available. The Andal cultures are avalable to download and now I am moving on to Essos.
What are your thoughts and suggestions for future Portraits?

http://www.mediafire.com/download/27v0qxx1gz73wto/Mangulwortsdlcfacemod.zip

The Reach men use early western portrait pack for clothes and The Spanish portrait pack for hair.

The Stormlands use Assets from the early western portrait pack as well.

The Riverlands use Celtic clothing

The ironborn have Russian faces.

The Andals use Russian clothes and Turkish hair.

The Northmen of course use norse faces.

And the Ibbish use mongol faces, Norse clothes and northmen beards for their women! hehe

The way I always pictured them as neanderthal like peoples. I heard however in the show they were asiatic-inuit in appearence.

The description from the wiki:
Yandel mentions they stand apart from other races of mankind and goes into detail describing them as a heavy people broad about the chest and shoulders, seldom standing taller than five and a half feet, with thick, short legs, and long arms. Their faces are characterized by sloping brows with heavy ridges, small sunken eyes, great square teeth, and massive jaws. Their flesh is pale, with dark blue veins beneath the skin. Ibbenese are also the most hirsute people in the known world, with dark and wiry hair. Ibbenese men are heavily bearded and covered in body hair on arms, legs, chests, and backs. Coarse dark hair is also common among their women, even on the upper lip."

Sounds very neanderthal to me. Strange using Asiatics to represent them. Considering most are anything but hairy.

Its just my head canon. I imagine them to be hairy Inuit's. I know its not everyone's cup of tea but its better them Russian portraits in my opinion.

I don't think the Northmen look very good with Norse portraits. The original ones are far closer to the characters' original looks.

I would use the Spanish portraits for Dorne, the turkish/altaic ones for the dothraki, and the greek ones for Valyrians. The reasons? The Spanish portraits look darker than they should becuas eof the lighting, but this works well for the darker skinned dornish (the light skinned dornish remain the same), the dothraki seem to be inspired by the nomadic turkish people, so that is a fit, and the valyrians are renowned for their beauty and such, and sincerely, the better looking portraits out there are probably the greek ones (though obviously the hair and eyes would need some tweaking).

Anyway, great work!

I don't know, It bothers me that the congenital mod uses paradox dlc graphics files in some of the expanded outfits and that's pirating the original dlc files from paradox. I made this mod so that people sshould use the DLC graphics legitimately. I always imagined the first men to look different from the Andals but I can see what you mean. The beards look a little strange on the Norse bodies.

Well, it's your mod but by this point there probably isn't any genetic difference between the Andals and the First Men these days due to them intebreeding so much.

The Norse portraits aren't good for Northmen.

Remember that Northmen / First Men are supposed to be dark of hair. I liked the original portraits more for them.

Also, could you change the Patrician clothes for Essosi republics?

I think next update I will make the norse northmen be optional due to complaints. I never changed the hair color so i don't understand the "dark of hair" suggestion. With the essosi republic clothes i was toying with the idea of changing it to a mix of Greek clothing and patrician hats. Thoughts?

Not true, according to the mod developer
