Hey
It says in wiki that Alien Imprints gives 9 total artifacts.
"Uncovers new Anomalies - Alien Artifacts - which provide a boost to all research when scanned (3% reduced cost per Alien Artifacts scanned, 9 total. Does not affect research of Breakthroughs.)"
I am getting a random amount of them. My friend got 9 in his game today, i got 6 in my previous game and i got 3 in my current game. Is it a bug, or has this recently been changed?
Edit:
Did some tests here now. It seems that the amount of artifacts you will get is decided when you complete the research of the breakthrough, before you know it is Alien imprints. I got 8 on first try, then 4 on the next try. I saved on 80% and 97% completion of alien imprint research, and it always gave me the same amount in the same spots. The only way to change the amount of artifacts, is to research the breakthrough over again. Once its done, the amounts dont change.
Is this intended Paradox?
If it is, then it feels very underwhelming. Its a huge difference between 3 artifacts that results in 9% cost reduction and 9 artifacts that results in 27% cost reduction.
