Trying to install EU2 where I normally live, I get an error message when the installshield wizard is being launched.
"An installation support file
'C:\docume~1\Owner\lokale~1\Temp\*lots of gibberish*\setup.inx
could not be installed."
I got the disc to install perfectly well when I got home for christmas at my brothers computer. I didn't patch until a windows update with the new internet explorer somehow messed up the game's start, and when I did patch it at home the original save games were all rock bottom on the economy. Perhaps it was because I was playing colonial spain that was part of the problem, but the game didn't seem to recognise trade income in the save games. Regular new games seems to have worked fine, even when loaded.
So, any chance I can fix this locally? Because I would favour a fresh install and patch over taking the EU2 installation from him and just copying it to my disk through portable memory.
