So, I was wondering, has anyone kept track of whether an anomaly's icon indicates what you sort of get from scanning it?

I have seen anomalies with a magnifying glass, with a beaker and with a key.

I know they can unlock new technologies (key?), provide science points (beaker?) and maybe do other stuff like tech cost reductions (magnifying glass?).

Has anyone else taken a closer look at this?

Oh and there's also an eye icon.

I also noticed all the anomalies created by a meteor storm were beakers, which if they are just science points makes sense.

- Magnifying glass unlocks a breakthrough
- Beaker gives you research points
- Eye gives you an event
- Key unlocks regular research
- Crescent symbol are alien artifacts (revealed only by a specific breakthrough)

It seems to be:
Beaker - Science points.
Key - Reveals items on main tech tree, unless all items unlocked then science points.
Magnifying glass - Releals a Breakthough tech.
Eye - Misc events. Find meteor of rare metal, Rover is damaged, Extra colonists, etc.
