So my dear lore collegues seems like we're getting Anon.

Who would you like to see coming ?

My vote would have to be Julia and Mab. Or maybe Gabriel as a reaver archor

For now I really want Marinus and Mab back, so we have the complete set of Wizard Kings from AoW2's Wizards Circle. Maybe even make an additional "Complete Circle" ahcievement that requires you to ascend all 12. Naturally Marinus would be perfect for an aquatic expansion.

As for Julia, if/wgen she returns it will probably be as a surprise revelation in a Story Realm

Anon was one of the 12 Wizards of the Circle of Evermore that served as both allies and antagonists in the campaign of AoW2: The Wizards Throne.

Anon is a leader of the Archons (and possibly an Archon himself, but with the Wizards of AoW2 it often remains a bit unclear what exactly they are), and in Aow2 and Shadow Magic he looked kinda like Morgan Freeman (just like Artica looked like Michelle Pfeiffer in those games) Together with Serena he represented the Sphere of Life in said Circle, with his focus being the holy powered and healing aspects of that sphere, while Serena represented the more primal, plant and animal focused part of that sphere.

Anon represent the circle of life magic, so i guess he will be a true cleric ?

She looks gorgeous you philistine! But i doubt she is Julia, after all Julia is an Elf and only Humans can turn into Archons/Elysians

Carefull. I saw one dev mention only human souls can become archons is what was known so far. With a hint we might learn more in the first New Story realm.

My guess would be a prophecy foretold when the first non human turned into an archon the cosmos would be at danger. With the hints of Interpreten prophecies ourselves from the dlc it could easily mean, if it happens and the cosmos isnt in danger yet it will be. So opening that floodgate is to be resrerved for when the cosmos is already at danger.

He returned in the outro of shadow magic to fight shadow demons with oneron.

Its possible he is an eldritch sovereign and corrupt now. But last we heard about him he was fine.

Don't you have that archon guardian that's an orc ? He's the big villain in a mission.

What really scares me isn't just her armor. If you read merlin lore he saved julia who was kidnapped. She has scars and a golden arm who might suggest she was tortured by the naughty insects.
Really hope that's not her. I kinda dislike this let's turn all the cool characters into broken and insane characters....They did the same with the Edward who become enraged and insane, merlin a squid, heck even the girl that I always forget her name that's the cover girl on this game L something is now a bug and I really liked her human model.

Really hope they keep at least Julia away from this broken stuff. She's the face of the francize for crying out loud...

Turiel (the holy orc) is not an Archon. Just a guy who managed to earn the Archons’ respect.

Also, while Edward may have went a little nuts, he’s also obviously still HUMAN (also, he went back to normal when the Chaos Endailon was beat out of him). As for Merlin and Lithyl, the lore regarding Lost Wizards (which were in the base game) gives a good reason for them ending up the way they did.

We also have to bring up their followers. Urrath’s Chosen (Lithyl’s followers) are seemingly just regular Shadow Demons who serve Lithyl. As for Merlin’s Umbral Humans, they ARE changed… but only in the sense that they have been corrupted, and start with Umbral Flesh.

I really think you are overthinking this. Nothing really suggests it’s possible for races to physically transform into another one entirely. As such, I am sure that Elysian ruler (with Elysian followers) is not Julia.
