I wish they would just add more to the team. I mean, was not CK2 a huge success?

I do fully believe, however, that the dev team is working to their capacity, considering that it is fairly small.
Yeah but that's not an excuse. Then hire more people, especially as you said with the success of CK2. Look how many mods are updated nowadays....zilch, none nada. That's a worrying sign.

Well to be honest they have supported CK2 much longer than I would have ever hoped for. But they are taking so long to fix these bugs that it almost feels intentional, trying to force us to play the base game instead. Is HBO pressuring Paradox to drop mod support or something?

Please don't all go around spamming and complaining to paradox they haven't made an update yet. It just gives them a bad impression of us and probably doesn't actually encourage or motivate them

They should worry about what impression they are giving. Ass kissing probably doesn't encourage or motivate them either. We paid in full for the game so we have a right to complain if they break something.

I don't complain if the mod takes long to update because you are doing for free on your own time. But paradox get paid to work, so they should be fixing things that they break. Would it not be a bit ridiculous if the plumber you paid took 2-3 months to fix a leaky pipe in your house. It's their job.

I'm gonna make a bet here and say that in 2 months it still won't be fixed.

I really think this mod has outgrown it's means. We only really needed Westeros, the other regions are only of slight relevance compared to it, and appear to be dragging progress down.

That’s just like, your opinion, man.
Its not really slowing the progress down, Paradox-Bugs are the AGOT team have no way to control what Paradox releases.
Westeros is completely finished, what would you have the Coders do, sit around and twiddle their thumbs?
Once the game's bugs are fixed (which will not go faster if we sit around and complain about it) and when it is working again Knucky will eventually update his Westeros Only mod, then you can just use that.

I disagree, Essos is huge but it opens up so many new possibilities and when the horse lords update finally comes it will be even more fun. You can bet that if a canon map of Sothyros is ever revealed it will be included in the mod.

You're right. I rarely play in Westeros since Essos is out. There are so many possibilities to play without killing immersion. Ruins, old Kingdoms like Essaria, Sarnor or Rhoyne etc.

Greetings

Pretty much every other major mod is updated besides game of thrones and elder kings I really fail to see what the problem is with these two mods that are so different?

For 50 thousandth time the triggers for battle and siege events are broken which means our dragons are not deployable in battle or sieges which vastly reduces their abilities hence we have chosen not to release an update for the mod until those triggers are fixed by paradox. It is really not that difficult to comprehend why we haven't.

Just an idea, don't know if you guys considered this as a band-aid fix until paradox releases its own fixes, but couldn't you just use combat pulse and siege pulse on_actions with really high weighting?

Aegon with his 20 good Men in the Invasion of Westeros for Example.

Yes, Groogy is wrong here. We have direct confirmation from Gars that he is aware and his fixed the bug in the current developer build, See Captain Gars to the Rescue thread. Also, I would question anything Paradox QA asserts as WAI after the last couple of DLC bug lists.

To be honest most of the wait is simply for a patch release for work already done. Gars has fixed most of the bugs that are impacting mods. They just need to release the patch that contains the fixes already.
