I don't think that would be much fun, where did your historical background go??? People only listen to that story if you have a reason!!!

Well, post them again, they 're probablly deleted for non-sense or for spammin!!!

Hey, what about ny Angevin option IGC............bust though it is!:D Although, I'll probably just slap it back together with EU2's files, proper editor or not.

It's bust, remember...........besides something having gone wrong with the reloading savegames using it.:( Guess one lives and learns, since after all that time it's effectively unreleasable-which means I can't be bothered to mess around with the leader files of flag graphics.

So BiB, barring any "special" requests, looks like you'll be the only one with the dubious honour of possessing it-although not what I intended to be the "final" version.

Maybe I should send you that...............although with the Beta you sure have your hands full.

Good lord, BiB, you are still around! Remember I predicted you would self destruct when you got to 6000 posts. :D

You haven't done too bad at the "Angevin-like" EU II 1419 scenario, have you. France a vassel to England as it should be, eh? ;)

Yeah, that problem u had sounded weird. Shaem u couldn't find it ...

I'm considering trying to "un-IGC" it to see if that'll work............but I haven't quite got the time at the moment.

Did I mention Guelders had gone in the final version-as had the Prussian territories of united Prussia! Magdeburg and Munster made it though..............

Some Eastern Europe Scenario's perhaps?

14 year war 1444 (TO vs. Poland and Lithuania) where the Teutons tried to avenge their loss at Grunwald. The Polish Levy was so incompetent that the King needed to spend loads of $$$ for merceneries. The war lasted 14 years and the Poles finally won and got back more lands. The Teutonic order was again crippled.

War in the Inflants. Countries: Gdansk (merchants-Polish revolters), Sweden and Muscovy. This is the first Inflant War were two military geniuses of the time fought head to head: Stephen Bathory, Prince of Siebenburgen, King of Poland and Ivan IV The Terrible. The war was a Polish victory and Bathory conquered many lands (Smolensk, Vilikie Luki). Gdansk was revolting because Bathory was not the King elected by the gentry (Polish tradition, elections of king) as they elected Maximillian the Habsburg.

The Turkish invasion of Poland in 1672(ended 1673). Turkey gathered it's troops in the European theater in order to invade and conquer all of christianity. Thousands of Jannisaries poured into Rzeczpospolita and even though seriously outnumbered, the Poles defeated the Turks (though they were finally defeated in 1683 in Vienna). Turkey would have numerical advantage but attrition problems (it was winter). The Poles on the other hand will have Sobieski, who will be the only one competent enough to save them.

Just some broad ideas for Eastern Europe...

Nice to pay all that maintenance on the fleet with nothing for them to do. :D Or did you, horrors, scuttle the English fleet?

Jools - I love the idea of a scenario where Turkey is threatening Christendom - being at the gates of Vienna and all that.

Of xure not! The pride of the English Empire! There's still Castille/Spain/Portugal/Denmark and so and France will get some harbours back eventually, I'm not that strong on the continent, really but so far no one has managed to land on good ole Ingalund :D
