Anyone working on service buildings?

Most mods I see being thrown into the abyss that is the workshop currently are growable recycled buildings with very few uploads being actual original designs. Would love to hear about anyone working on ploppable service buildings or transportation like the airport or a new railyard.

Anyone making any headway on an airports that I can look forward to?

It better have huge smoke stacks and increase happiness. Downside is everyone needs to go to a commercial building afterwards to stuff themselves with food.

But we have to realize the game has been out for just a few days so give people some time

Personally im looking forward to some good models for some service buildings :



Recycle Center :
No pollution, High weekly costs, in a dreamcase scenario it will provide some materials that can be used elsewhere in your city. (Hate to admit, I liked how SimCity provided this)

Water Treatment :
Basically this does what the water tower does but it provides much more water. And ofcourse its not a tower but those big basins of water.

Water Waste Treatment :
Same as already ingame, but this one doesn't pollute but has higher weekly costs.

Jail :
Might not actually work since the police doesn't seem to arrest people. But it could lower crime rate in the surrounding area.

Library :
Not sure what it should do as i don't want it to replace schools.

How about something I mentioned a while back.
Electrical sub stations.
You can put them on the edge of your zone, hook up your power lines to them and there you go.
Not removable. Once planted, there it stays.
You should be able to zone around it, but the power connection has to stay.
Price to be determined.

This was a model I had used for SC4, but it was made at a time when Cities Skylines was on the radar. It shouldn't be too difficult to adapt for use in CSL.

I have been looking for this. Is there a way to snap the power lines to your substations? Would also like to snap power lines to the Power stations in the game itself.
