(sorry if this is old hat. i did a search and nothing likely turned up so...)

I'm having problems with a new AoD install and how it appears on the screen. I'm going to upgrade the new install to 1.10 when I get this all worked out.
I have an old 1.07 install where the splash screen appears full screen, the map covers the screen, and the other windows (intel, tech, prod, etc) mostly cover the screen but leave a strip of the map visible over to the right. I like it this way, it is a good size for my (less than perfect) eyesight. (it is probably 1024x768 but i'm not sure of that.)
I have a new, seperate, clean 1.07 install and the screen is less than ideal. The splash screen is small with large black borders around it. The map is 'smaller', by which I mean it also takes up the full screen, you can see more of the map, but each province is smaller and the font is much smaller. Each window is also smaller, it does not take up as much of the screen as the above install, and the font and buttons are much smaller. Too small. I struggle to see the writing. (this one is probably 1920x1080, the same as my regular screen.)
I remember fiddling with the old install to get it to where it is, but have no idea what it was now.

Main question: How can I set the resolution on the new install to match the old install?

Oh, and there's nothing in the properties of the old .lnk or the old .exe to change anything. Nothing checked in the compatibility section, for example.

It appear there is nothing wrong, your AoD uses currently the choosen resolution of 1920x1080. You can try to reduce to 1024x768, in that case it is upscaled and each pixel uses more space so to speak. It also depends on what your graphic driver and your monitor is set to. In a way what you seeks is actually a disimprovement compared to having the proper resulution of 1920x1080. But perception is reality and your perception is that 1024x768 suits your needs.

You can edit \settings.cfg. Change

Code:
1920 #Width
1080 #Height

to

Code:
1024 #Width
768 #Height

Or simply use \Arsenal.exe to select a resultion. This Loader is part of the entries in the start menu in case you use those.
