When I open the window to appoint the successor for a bishop when I am under free investiture, the window will close on its own often before I have a chance to pick who I want.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
This is a reported issue on our internal forums, if you pause the game it will not close itself. The closing has to do with the game updating (regarding in-game) on certain dates.
