Hi monarchs,

in my games with bavaria and the ottomans the same problem with my armies occur: if I have a stack of 2 or more units in one army and I want to reorganize them (split) it is very hard to do this because there is almost no time to push the icon of the reorganizing unit before it switches back automaticly to the display before-and if I manage to hit the button in time sometimes the choosen unit disappear...

Greetings

Pause the game when you want to split units. That'll solve your problem. :)

you know related to this....

in MP, sometimes if you split up a group that group will be there, but will not move and will not reorginize. This seems to happen if you are over the x/x limit for culture. However, i have seen this when under the limit too. Upon a reload, those said divs are gone alltogether.

I've seen this too, but only in unusual circumstabces, like when the game CTDs while i have divisions trying to move between a ship and the shore or vice versa. It seems that troops caught in limbo will be misplaced. A MP partern of mine had his transports sunk off Sweden, and the soldiers they were carrying just stayed there, standing in the water, unable to move.

yeah, kinda like when you cycle through mil using pgup/pgdwn and you find you have a unit in the arctic shelf! that seems to be a problem from eu on :(

I have no idea what you're talking about.
haha, i can inflict that disease upon people

what i meant was cyclying through mil units in eu1/2, hoi would sometimes give you a group w/ a leader but no units. they would be usually at the top of the map; i.e. no mans land. and if you try and move it, usally a ctd results. i actually haven't seen this in vicky (maybe i have, but can't recall).

but if i remember some of your prev posts Mem you havn't played eu1/2 or hoi? shame on you :p

oh and Traveller in our MP game once lost a huge stack in So Cal when he gave the land to USA. they were not to be found in either pool for units.

Oh, ok. No, I've never seen that in Victoria, thankfully.

Well, everyone has to start sometime. I was reluctant to give up turn-based games for RTS. I played turn-based to the bitter end.
