What is the favorite web browser of Paradox Employees? It doesn't have to be an endorsement, just... personal favorites.

I like Opera, it's really a complete package. It does miss a few small things I like about Firefox though, so I actually use both. I keep IE around too in case some government site requires it, and also for windows update. Rather not open it though. Chrome is ok, but when I tried it it lacked features I need, and plugins like adblock.

Did you have good grades in school?
I'm pleased with my grades. :)

Good Choice(s)

When will these forum upgrades come and what will they include?

I must admit I haven't been following this thread very much, though I did read the last page.

What is Johan doing at the moment? I couldn't catch him leading any team. Is he contributing everywhere a bit? Supervising the different teams? Back to programming in one of the teams under another guy? Serving coffee for the other devs?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I guess this one goes to publishing.

I bought dragon age a long time ago and finished playing it for a slightly less long time ago. There has gone a while I decide to try it again, but suddenly I can't because the game have to be registered with a EA account to be playable.
What I am asking us if companies actually have the right to do this, as in imposing new material on a product that has been bought without the knowledge of the owner?

And another question, how is life in the office?

I hope the post does not anger the dragon *runs for nearest cover*

Absolutely, when you buy a game you don't actually own it. During installation I'm pretty sure you hit "I agree" somewhere, if you read the Terms of Agreement carefully you'll see that you've just bought a license to use the game and I'm pretty sure you've also agreed to let EA do just about anything they want with their game. Forcing you to register is one of those things.

What's more is that they also retain the right to change the Terms of Agreement as they see fit.

Great huh?

But then again, is it such a hassle to register the game? We really prefer our customers to register their game as well.

IMHO - It's a great game so if EA wants me to do reasonable stuff I'll do it.

Thanks for the clarification then. I would like to register it, but to do that I have to be 18 or older I think and for the moment I am 16. I bought the game with the permission of my father (I think guardian is the legal term), but he does not want to register his name, birth date and other things he consider sensitive on more databases then he consider necessary.

Oh well, I guess I will just be playing some more on p'dox games then :D

Just be like everyone else and come up with a bunch of fake info to shove in there.

As for as my PS3 online profile is concerned, I'm 60 years old, live in Beverly Hills, and am a female. *nods*

Does that mean you aren't?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I'm supervising our 3 internal teams, and am also the producer for Pride of Nations and Magna Mundi, and for all the engine projects we've had.

When not busy with that, I'm also doing design work with King. I'm also doing the interface design with Yonaz whenever a game needs a new interface.

Finally, if I have some extra hours in a week, those get spent fixing bugs in older projects. I'm currently working on Victoria 2.
