Aussie Group EU2 Game

I'm really enjoying playing EU2 again after such a long hiatus, so a 2nd game is fine by me.

As for historical russian lands - mike - remember the time frame of this game. The Crimea, and all the tartar lands belong to the islamic world, and only one nation leads Islam!
 
Major is also getting EUII as we speak. Ive told him to come along on wedesday at 7pm. So the EUII group is growing quickly.

I think after our monday & Tuesday Hoi game ends i might leave those nights for other games, 3 hoi games a week is alittle much. I think 2 hoi games a week for me is plenty. No time to play other games damm it.
 
Well guys. It looks like I might be going 2ic in nightfill at work. This means I will most likely be required to run Monday and Tuesday nights so I will have to give up HOI on those nights anyway. I will try and negotitate with my bosses to give me wednesday nights off, fingers crossed. SE.
 
Well major ball has the game now too, we could start a fresh game on wednesday with all of us in it.

Would need France or Castile, England or Castile, ottomans, Muscovy and Austria.

Personally I'd like to play either France, England or Castile as my 3 preferences.
 
Well im free tonight by the looks of it, with our monday game comming to an end with the Axis powers finaly being subdued :( .

So if you guys are up for a new game or to continue our other game. With stalin working nights now more often it might not be convieant for him to play in this game at the moment.

Reasonable session for Austria. War broke out with Hungary which saw the Hungarian army destroyed at the hands of Austrian forces, several cities were seiged and taken and just before the Hungarian capital fell our stupid allies made a peace agreement. The low countries were ceded to Austria which sore the British take advantage of the fragile state of our new lands. With no major army to fight the Brits with, we were forced to sue for peace which sore the center of trade in Flandern ceded to the English in return for peace. War broke out later with Milan which sore our allies the Papal States take Mantua, it is apparent that the Papal States are becoming a dominant power in Italy and may well have to be dealt with. Luxemburg was also taken by the Palitinat when they did a suprise attack with nearly 30,000 troops and caught us off gaurd. Unable to send a releif force, we were forced to cede the city state to it's beseigers. About to enter the 16th century, Austria stands strong regardless of what the other powers think. We look to the future for oppurtunities, Venice and they're valuable center of trade, Helvetia. Our oppurtunities for expansion seem almost endless. SE.
 
The Ottomans waged several wars of varying success, but spent more efforts on bringing the heathens to the one true faith of islam. The Balkan states occupied by the Ottomans now are predominantly islamic.

Otherwise, a successful war against Castille, Aragon and the Knights saw Albania, Kosovo and Ragusa seized off the former, and Rhodes taken as the last bastion of the knights was overwhelmed. Karaman also was annexed, as was lone Cyprus. At this stage, a large war developed with Hungary & Georgia combining with several islamic states attacking our borders. We are not well liked after our conquests it seems. With victories in the west, but defeats in the east, the Ottoman Empire decided discretion was the better part of valour, as a series of calamatious events eroded state stability. Sivas was ceded as the price of peace. The shame of this will surely propel the armies of the prophet in a renewed series of attacks sometime in the future.
 
Lets see England came out of the War of the Roses intact and with a substantial bank balance. Once Austria inherited Burgundy we decided to strike at once. The Duke of Norfolk was dispatched with 2 colunms on 30k men to secure Antwerp. The Austrians had no chance and after a year of seiges and minor scirmishes, the Emperor was forced to cede Antwerp and the valuable COT.

With our large gold reserves we constructed 2 of the worlds first manufactories that will specialise in trade materials and technologies.

By the end of the session England established 5 trading posts in Canada and New Foundland, during the next decades we expect to triple the size of our colonial lands and improve our incomes with trade goods from the new world. Does the future of English expansion lay not in Europe but in the Americas?
 
Do you get nukes in EU2? :rolleyes: If so than please leave me Cuba so I can fire missiles at your America's. Thanks for your understanding SL. SE.
 
The power of moscovy grows.

This session saw several large wars for moscovy. A war against the golden horde was the only war initated by moscovy this session. This saw the second CoT enter moscovy's realm in the far south with two morep rovinces secured leaving only the golden hordes capital and one far off province left.

Thia how ever seemed to provoke lithuania into war with there large armies taking us by suprise. Butdue to moscovys large size, large manpower and reasonable economy our ability to produce near endless amounts of troops doomed lithuania. Once the winter had decimated there forces trying to take out lands the huge russian armies invaded from multiple directions over running much of lithuania including its capital. Lithuania soon sued for peace ceeding 3 provinces to moscovy.

A third war broke out between Teutonic Knights and Sweden. There armies even larger then lithuanias took some beating, but once again our huge manpower doomed them. With moscovy securing 3 more provinces from the Teuton's. This included our first real access to the wider world. There are rumors of an ancient legend among the people that a great city will be founded by a great leader in this province, becoming our capital centre of maritime commerce in this region.

Suzdal was also diplomatical annexed, adding two further provinces to our empire.

Although such rapid expansion was not sort but forced upon us by aggreissive neighbours, it has tarnished our reputation and all future expansion will be put on hold for some time. For now moscovy's terrirtorial ambitions thorugh war are largely meet, for now.

The future lies to the east for moscovy while protecting the west with large armies. Mosocvy is also tempted to enter the naval world now that a port has been secured alot faster then first planed. Perhaps moscovy will also have overseas colonies.

P.S are we playing this game tonight or a new game.

I'll do you guys a deal, let me get Rousillon and I'll not expand cept for my french cores for 100 years. That should stabalise Europe for you. No more Italian or Dutch expansion and I'll leave Bearn alone. That will put as at 1550 at the status quo as it stands. Also Austria will be decent by then giving you guys an ally to my east. Hows that?
 
I am uncertain as to when we agreed to continue mike and joel, since I cant hog the computer all day to find out could I ask you to ring me if your ready to start and I'm not there. Mike I know its STD but it wont cost more then 50 cents to ring me, cos it will only be like 10 seconds. I will check here at 1pm EST to see whats up, so if one of you could leave a message here that would be great.

Where is Stalin, so we can continue our 4 player game. I think that one is more balanced.
