Automatic peace?

I've just downloaded and installed 1.05 italian patch on my PC. But something strange occur.

I've played two Grand Campaigns with Granada and Milan and during wars, in particular when I'm loosing against PC led nations sometimes EU2 makes peace automatically.... my nations pays money, gives up provinces, become vassal or gives military access, as other IA led nations. Normal?

no it is not normal. Send me your save game at viper37@sympatico.ca ; I'll verify this.

The only reason why something similar to this would happen is if your government would fall (you would need to refuse a few generous peace offers so that your stab would go down) and then the ennemy would gain all occupied provinces.

Otherwise I don't see...

Eh? Not normal? If you're in an alliance and the alliance leader makes peace, you share in the gains or losses.

but you shouldn't become a vassal of your ennemy.

And IIRC, when the AI does not give your territories away, even if you are not the leader.
