Did abolitionist societies such as Braavos or Pentos not cross your mind?

Who says you'd even make it to one? Your ship might be attacked by pirates from the Stepstones.

The Aztecs has like 20 dragonriders with their army. The Whitewalkers has no chance whatsoever. However, I am curious to see a situation where the Others take over all of Westeros and the Aztecs invaded in full force.

Should they then be called liberators instead of invaders?
20 dragon riders? Ah fuck that, i convert, hail the sun god or what have you.

But it wasn't the topic...

The main theme, if I recall correctly, was "Do the Aztecs get an advantage vs White Walkers, if not, could they?" and you made it an argument, themed "Would you prefer to be killed by the Others or rather by the Aztecs?"

Seriously.
And because we've diverged a little from the main topic, I must be troll, is that right?

Never mind that what our argument was about whether life under the Whitewalkers vs life under the Aztecs is perferrable. Which came from a scenario which I put forth earlier, on whether Aztecs should be labelled as liberators upon the reconquest of Westeros from the Whitewalkers. Sure, it's not as fancy as dragonglass bonus modifiers against the Others or suggesting the Aztecs a scion of the R'hllor faith, but it's flavor and still very much related to the theme.

I did notice that we started to go too far from the thread, which is why I sucked it up and just ask the guy why he's arguing with me and what did he disagree with me about. Which turned out to be "lulz, shits and giggles."

So I was hardly trolling. Please don't call others that based on such flimsy evidence. Even if you add a "no offense" at the end.

Braavos and Pentos aren't even near the stepstones, and organized flotillas of armed yet destitute refugees would be quite a deterrent.

"A little"?

.... no comment.

I'm done arguing with you, it's pointless.

Hardly an argument, you have to admit. All your contributions to this "argument" have been vague, then downright hostile when confronted. But I agree, our conversation is at an end.

I'd hate to be accused of trolling again for pointing out more flaws in your logic.

You get to be a slave by any other name! Have fun!
Not so in Braavos. Though in regard to Pentos, a man can only serve as such out of their own volition or if they are in debt. Both circumstances of which are most unlikely to occur.

Really dude, stop being so butt-hurt. You sound as if you've been deflowered by Bill Cosby.

Hardly an argument, indeed. But I seriously don't want to get involved in the spectacle you're doing right now. "Flaws in my logic"?. You just want to have the upper hand, don't you?

See, that's why I call you a troll. Because no serious person would actually take the time to type what you just did.

And once more, you've resorted to hostility and dismissal. No serious person would actually take the time to explain themselves?

Well, I'm a serious person.

I don't like being called a troll and have my opinion so utterly dismissed as pointless and worthless. I am defending myself here. This is the only reason why I'm still here. But you only make accusations and personal attacks.

Tell me, what is your definition of a troll again?

Hm, Guys? Could you continue this argument via PM?

I started this thread to discuss if the Aztecs have special advantages while fighting the Walkers because they used obsidian weaponry and obsidian/dragonglass can kill the Walkers. I was answered by the fact that the Walkers army is mainly composed of Wights so it didn't really matter and that there were no current mechanics for dragonglass. I still check from time to time to see if people are actually proposing ideas for this, even if I'm not expecting much development given that it's a relatively silly and non-canon part of the mod.

But the last two pagaes are practically only you two arguing with each other and you're starting to go "You're a Troll" "No, I'm not! You're the Troll!". It's not really conclusive...

You're right ^^... but only one page. I just joined in, it started before.

Ayway, I'm stopping. Just for the sake of it.

Yeah, let's just wrap this up quickly before this gets dragged onto ten pages. It's obvious that we're both too stubborn to stop on our own. Sorry about your thread, OP.

There should be a bonus of some sort, and if nothing else (since I assume little as heck was done other than making it so the Aztecs COULD invade) I think they should receive a bit more stuff to make them more interesting perhaps.

I don't think there should be a special bonus additionally to the dragons they already have.
The Obsidian Weapons would be mostly not better than normal swords, because the mass of the White Walkers Army consists of Wights (undead) wich are afraid of fire, but not weak to obsidian.

Just my two cents to the Topic ;)

Regarding the Dragons. I thought the Aztecs only had dragons if the ruler of the Iron Throne also had dragons. I've had them invade in both a Baratheon and a Targaryen game before and they only had dragons when I did.

The only time I saw them actually attack, it was in observer mode, and I was paying attention at a different part of the world so I didn't see it go down but a few provinces south of the New Gift were "Winter" for a while, then Winter was gone. I've never actually had it happen when I was playing in that area. Once, as Jon, I declared war on the White Walkers. They came south with about 15000, sieged/assaulted Castle Black, took Jon hostage, then let him go with some snide comment about how his low character was the subject of Braavosi plays. I didn't know the Others were so culturally aware, and they were pretty cool about the whole affair. I always thought losing the War for Dawn would be more than embarassing.
