Thought we ought to get this up and running. After all, the game is afoot!

Diplomacy is conducted by a select corps of one-handed clapping monks, who, while few in number, are vital to conducting business with the outside world. Capable of traveling to any known destination with a proposal in a single day (utilising a secret handshake) they are unfortunately subject to delayed friction on their return trip, suffering the friction they avoided on the trip out. Thust they are few and far between and need extended periods of rest after each mission.
