Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I click launch on the .exe and it fails immediately. After reviewing other complaints, I deactivated my AV completely, killed all running processes, even after confirming that my entire steam directory is on the ignore list. Still fails... I execute as Admin, and it fails. I set compatibility to Win8 per troubleshooter, still fails.

I only have an Intel graphics card in my laptop. Could this be the issue? I found that City Skylines XXL had the same issue, but I least got to the start screens... I can't even see a splash screen or intro or anything...

Thank you for buying the game and for getting back to us with your issue!

So i see that you are using an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 solution for graphics and gaming. This means that you do not have a dedicated graphics card. Unfortunately, this game requires more graphical power.

If you can upgrade your laptop and insert a graphics card, great, but that is quite unusual. Either purchasing a new Laptop that has more graphical power, or running the game on a desktop with at least an Nvidia GTX 560ti or an AMD HD 5870 as per the system requirements page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/637090/BATTLETECH/) will do the trick...

Gotcha... I had such huge hopes for this game... avid player of the board game from well before the clans. Bought this game on Kickstarter for the simple fact it had a special atlas skin.

I understand the requirements... it also explains why the beta was not a pleasant experience. After 3 or 4 rounds it would lag hard and often crash. I hoped it was just a bug that would get patched as I have participated in other beta tests.

A new laptop is not an option at this time and I don’t have a desktop with anywhere near the power to run it. Guess this is one of those games where I will have to wait... Thank you again for the confirmation that it was due to my graphics card...

I have been running this game for a couple of weeks on a fairly low end i5 with on-board Intel graphics at low, med and high settings without crash. Laggy, but playable. Until Today! Please view post 26814762 and address my crash/no restart PLEASE! Thanks!

Hope that you are doing well. Glad to hear that you ordered a new GPU!

There haven't been any updates to the game. So it sounds like it has to be something on your end, or at least feasibly outside of our control. Maybe your new GPU will resolve the issue, although that GPU is still well below the Nvidia Minimum spec GPU GTX 560 Ti. However, I still hope that this GT 730 can resolve your issue! Just please bear in mind that the GT 730 is much slower than our listed Minimum Nvidia GPU.
