Battlefront III - Discussion Thread

It's time to load up EU2 again after a long summer break for many of you i suppose. Then the perfect start would be a old fashioned EU2 game with limited rules like Battlefront III.

I'd like to check interest for a new game, please post here if you are interested to sign up. We will discuss everything regarding the game in this thread, such as scenario, rules, game time, day etc. And first when we have a full crew the game thread will be created.

I'd really like in, whether I can or not is the question.

For me it's all about time. Really sometime like 1900 CET Saturdays or, the best times would be late nights EST Friday and Saturday.

Any idea on the time?

I'm really interested as well, best times would be 8 EST fridays, I'm thinking around 6-7 CET. Just thought I'd say that, though my schedule will probably be flexible enough to play during the day on some days as well. Not sure yet.

Interested in NL if it must be released in 1580 as in earlier Battlefronts.

Also, for scenario, I'd like to play something different, something like Bocaj's 1453 or a 1419 scenario like Test of Time. Anybody else like those at all?

I prefer this game to be a weekday game, Monday-thursday. Playing one of those days 4-5 hours session.

Check the DBD IV start up thread to get an idea what I'm looking for although this games purpose sounds similar.

Maybe use the bid system for nation selection?

Nothing fancy, a old fashioned EU2 game with limited rules. I'm open for ideas, such as Military tradition, as we used with good result in BF2, Colonial culture etc etc.

I'd like to be a neighbour of Slargos.

Top 3 choices:

France - I'm so rusty, I'll need to play France to be able to compete with you guys.

Austria - So long as we have a good Spain. I'll need lots of ducats.

Ottoman Empire - I've played the OE more then any other nation. So even though my skills suck now, I'll be able to go by muscle memory when clicking.
