One line summary of your issue
Bracing and doing nothing else does not cool a mech; no matter how many turns in a row you do it.

What platform are you running the game on?
GoG

What operating system do you use?
Windows 10 64bit

Which version of the game are you running?
1.91-686R

What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint, Urban Warfare, Shadowhawk Pack, Heavy Metal

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
If I have a mech that has any heat at all, and simply brace to skip its turn no heat is dissipated. Ever.

Have you tried verifying your files?
No

Steps to reproduce the issue
Play the game, generate some heat on a mech, at its next turn just hit brace.

Going to necro this thread to get some minds on it.
Issue:
Combat Message Publishing doesn't seem to be picking up when turndirector is outside of combat.

Actions:
Have attempted to patch CombatHUDMechTray.OnActivationComplete
This Fires and updates the mechs heat correctly but even after calling a HUD update it doesn't show on the CombatHUDHeatMeter.

The Unofficial BattleTech Patch does in fact cool down the mech however there is a visual bug which we are still working on. Welcome to suggestions.
We've tried calling the following without success on the visual bug.
- CombatHUDMechTray.Update()
- CombatHUDHeatMeter.RefreshHeatInfo()
- CombatHUDHeatMeter.UpdateHeat()

Greetings.

Please don't necro old support posts to discuss how to make changes to the game. Instead, perhaps try making a thread in the
modding subsection, to discuss such changes (it can even be about multiple topics if needed, but no unapproved links).

If you do have a support request do feel free to create a thread in this subsection to report any issue(s) you may have.

Locking Thread.
