Game Froze After Overheat + Coolant Vent
What platform are you running the game on?
Steam
What operating system do you use?
Win 10
Which version of the game are you running?
1.9.1
What DLC do you have installed?
Flashpoint,
Urban Warfare,
Heavy Metal
Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
My ShadowHawk SHD-2D was shot by about 10 of the inferno missiles from inferno carriers in the second battle of the Protype series. It had not completely overheated and I was given a turn, where I immediately activated the Coolant Vent ability, then I jumped away. The flashing part of my heat bar indicated below overheat, but the game just froze. Obviously the game is waiting for me to "brace" since that's the only action I have available, but I don't have the option to brace or do anything. The entire bottom action bar is blacked out, so the game waits eternally for me to make an action that is impossible for me to do.
Have you tried verifying your files?
Yes
Steps to reproduce the issue
1. Start the Protype II mission
2. Have a ShadowHawk SHD-2D
3. Get shot by both Inferno carriers
4. Activate coolant vent
5. Jump away
6. Watch the game freeze
Sorry, there is no save game, since the game froze, and DxDiag was a very popular file, with some 25 versions of it on my windows 10 during the search. I had no idea which one you wanted. Best of luck!
