Everyone talks about the "Vassals go independent when you conclude peace" bug thread, but I can't find it. If you close me as a duplicate, please include a link to the original thread. I've gone seven pages deep looking for it, and I've tried searching on some more obvious terms, but I just find threads closed as duplicates of "The One True Thread."

Anyhoo, it's still there in Aug 15, with a new twist: It waited a war. The Count of Holland took Tripoli, installed his daughter as Count of Tripoli, *then* we signed a peace deal. Hunky dory, she stayed loyal (To me, btw, the Duke of Lower Lorraine). Then I dragged the Count of Holland into another war, and on peace with *that* war, his daughter was suddenly independent. The Fatimids were the major victims both times.

It´s not in the bug forum as it´s not a bug, rather an intended feature by the developers (Working As Designed). It´s just against religious enemies as happened historically with the crusades.

So why did she stay loyal after the first deal? Is it a percentage chance? Is this event-driven -- can I look it up in the event files and see the odds/causes?

If this is WAD, WAD question: If I ever go on Crusade again, will my freshly-minted Count of Tripoli, Zeeland, Holland go independent on me?

I'd really like to see that thread. What forum is it in, if not Bug Forum?
