BIG bug....

i have a big problem........
my game start but, playing, after some time a terrible bbbbbiiiiiiippppp sound from my computer!!!!!!!!
What is the problem??????
I have win98, amdk72 500 sblive geforce2mx......and the sound don't work.
I don't think that is a problem of cooler or processor because the biiippp sound only in europa universalis...
help me please i have release 1.09 na...

is the beep coming from the PC speakers or from the SB ones?

from pc speakers....someone said that will be a problem of processor that goes to very hight temperature.....but that happen only when i play EU......i don't know what to do......and the game is very slow and i have a k2 500 and geforce2 mx.....i don't know what to do.....

Try to remove the alarm from the BIOS
and see if the beep goes on
