Bug: Franconian conquest

Minor bug i have completed the mission, yet i get the failure trigger after 5 years have passed - If it matters, once Franconia spawns, I still have my perm Claim on Coburg, which is weird, and shouldn't be the case.
Also, just as a note, it seems a bit meh if all that happens is that you keep the 4 ones you conquer and Ansbach/Bayeruth go free in disposito - Would be more fun if Franconia spawns as your PU (at least imho).

Did some savegame magic and after integrating all the Franconian provinces i still get the failure event - Worth noting is that i completed the mission with 4 provinces and the 2 PUs, so it's possible that if you integrate everything and then complete the quests you get a different outcome.

I had the same thing and it forced me to restart the game. Not only I got 30 AE from conquering these provinces, I lost it all because of event and then failure of mission triggered with another 15 AE. So now I got a massive coalition against me.

Happened to me as well. It pretty much bricked my game. I also left 2 provinces untouched in the region as it wasn't necessary for the mission. Maybe the game checks for if you got all of the provinces in the region instead of what is required for the mission.

Note that the 1.35 patch is not compatible with previous ones.

If this problem happened in games started since 1.35 , please make a new thread in Bug Reports and attach affected save files there, thanks.

I started my campaign yesterday after I bought and installed the newest DLC.

Same thing for me too. All 6 provinces got released into Franconia for me. Seem to keep the power projection bonus though.

Ironman saves from 1.35 are attached here too.

Through save scumming in an Iron man I even got Albert Achilles to die after scornfully insulting both PUs, conquered them before the event fires, had 6 owned provinces personally (not just PU) and it's still bugged. Ceded all my land to Franconia. This mission is very bugged. I think you just need all 8 provinces. Which is incredibly difficult considering 2 of those provinces are free cities. You would probably need Austria to lose emperorship and end up with an emperor with very few allies (To get the free cities you would have to peace out all other nations essentially and you're on a clock). My assumption is that you can indirectly own it, just a certain province is bugged for the check or you need all 8. Sad. I mean obviously you can do it in non-iron man and considering how I was save-scumming to get a unique set of circumstances why not, but doesn't feel as good to do in non-ironman.

It doesn't matter if you have all 8, it still does the same thing. I tested with console commands. Kinda peeved right now.
