Bug or am I missing something?

At one stage, I used the console to kill my Maester as I didn't much like his stats. As a result I have no new Master, I can't use decisions to summon one and even moving an existing Master from somewhere else to my court will not allow me to assign him to the post of Maester.

Also can't seem to host a Grand Tourney, despite not being at war etc.

Using 6 mods,

Bloodlines
Challenge to a duel
Congenital overhaul
New buildings
More decisions



Any ideas why the Maester can't be assigned?

Are you by any chance King of the IT? IIRC Archmaesters get asigned automatically.

About tourney, you either lack money/prestige for decision to show (I don't know the exact amount) or you're not following the Seven.

I think there's also a time limit (for example you can hold a Grand Tourney every 3-5 years).

Have you tried to give the Maester a Maester minor title? Also, try "event maester.23". If it doesn't work, try some other event on the maester_events file, or search the other files for Maester events.
