Pace signed, provinces still occupied

the summary is in the title, now the full story.

King of Croatia is also Duke of Croatia and Count of five provinces.
I have a claim upon his King title and upon two provinces out of five.
I DOWed him and I occupied four provinces. The last one was occupied by King of bohemia.

In the peace treaty I asked for all the claim I had: 2 counties and the king title, he accepted.

He remained Duke of Croatia, now my vassal, with just three provinces, but the other two provinces are still occupied by me !!!

I am at peace. I can move the "power" between nobles/clergy etc.. as I still controll those province and I could clik on the "pillage" button. Grafically, there are my "flags" on the provinces.

Also the Duke of Croatia is at peace, and he can change the power (he does!) and he looks like having income from his provinces.

I can provide a savegame with this situation.

Edit: I checked the fifth provinces. it is still occupied by King of Bohemia. Also KoBohemia is at peace. It looks like that the "freedom of controlled provinces after a peace treaty" doesn't happen at all !!

I think this has something to do with the pretty messy vassalages involved. Do you happen to know which of the provinces were in his demesne, which belonged to his duchy and what about other vassals?

All the provinces were in the personal demesme of tre previous King of Croatia. For other vassals everything goes just fine (they are now my vassals)

I guess is something related to "other war" between Croatia and Bohemia.

I recreate the situation with three "flavours" (I have the savegames just before sueing for peace, if someone in the dev.team wishes to take a look)

1.) Croatia at war with Hungary and Bohemia. All demesme of KoC. occupied by Hungary
When Hung get the title of KoC, the provinces that I don't reclaim (those now belonging to the Duke) remains occupied

2.) Croatia at war with Hungary and Bohemia. All demesme of KoC. occupied by Hungary OR Bohemia
When Hung get the title of KoC, the provinces that I don't reclaim (those now belonging to the Duke) remains occupied, by Hung or Bohe.

3.) Croatia at war just with Hungary. All demesme of KoC. occupied by Hungary
When Hung get the title of KoC, everything goes fine (the provinces that I don't reclaim, those now belonging to the Duke, are freed to the duke)

Seems quite clear then:

If there are two nations fighting an enemy which looses a superior title the vassal provinces occupied remain occupied if the vassal title is left to the loosing nation.

Did I get it right? I can't test myself not being at my comp for few weeks and wouldn't like to report it unless I can be sure. Johan is not a fan of faulty reports.

Oh, and does this apply to other similar conditions as well, especially with count-duke relations in addition to duke-king ones?

I've done a certain number of tests using France and Apulia and I got the following:

If there are two nations fighting an enemy which looses a superior title, the demesme provinces of the loser, occupied when the peace is signed, remain occupied if

1.) the lost title is "king of.." (NOT "duke of..")
2.) the loser mantains a title (count or duke doesn't matter)
3.) the loser becomes vassal of a winner

I've not tested what happens if the loser has tho "king" titles, so i added all the conditions (1, 2 ,3 ) which I'm sure of.

One more thing: what version are you using? 1.04a, some older patch or one of the beta patches perhaps?

1.04b - Nov.18 patch.
