Summary

Bug with Asatru/Northern/Norse names

Description

Characters of cultures that are supposed to take on the surnames of their fathers (or mothers in matrilineal marriages) aren't working consistently. My current household in patrilineal marriage is taking the surname "Freyason," where it should be "Erikson." Included are the screenshots verifying it's a patrilineal marriage, and that my child is taking the wrong surname.

Steps to reproduce

My ruler is currently of reformed "Asatru" faith and "Swedish" culture. (Diverged from Norse)
- Faith has equal gender laws
- Culture has martial set to male only, but allows shieldmaidens
- Realm has equal inheritance law

Not sure if relevant, but my past ruler (Current character's grandmother) was obviously in a matrilineal marriage. My current wife is unlanded and is a member of my dynasty, but a different house. All children including my player heir and firstborn male son are all members of my house, and all have taken on the wife's surname.

This is my first in-depth Norse/Northern campaign, so not sure if this is a recent bug or one that has perhaps existed for a while.
