I assume the answer is no, but the tooltip on the ascension perk doesn't say "non-artificial worlds", so I figured I'd double check before deciding whether to take it. otherwise I have to hold this slot open for gaia worlds or for ecumenopoli, neither of which I have the tech for yet.
